die letzten Tage war ich damit beschäftigt, Michael Schenkers Solo Gitarre des Intros von "On with the Action" einzustudieren. Mich als Hobby Gitarrist bringt dies bereits an die Grenzen meines Könnens. Hier gibt es "Hammer On", "Pull Off" und viele "string bendings". And auch das Tempo ist für mich ein Problem.
Hi guys, the last few days I've been busy rehearsing Michael Schenker's solo guitar of the intro of "On with the Action". As a hobby guitarist, this already takes me to the limits of my ability. There are "Hammer On", "Pull Off" and many "string bendings". And also the tempo is a problem for me.
Ich habe das Training mit 50% Geschwindigkeit gestartet. Wenn man die schwierigen Passagen ständig wiederholt, werden die Abläufe im "Muscle Memory" gespeichert. Dann kann man das Tempo langsam steigern. Ich denke mal, ich habe das Solo einigermaßen sauber hinbekommen bei Tempo 100%.
I started playing at 50% speed. If you constantly repeat the difficult passages, the sequences are stored in the "muscle memory". Then you can slowly increase the speed. I think I got the solo reasonably clean at 100% speed.
Als nächstes werde ich mich an die Sologitarre des "Mainriffs Solo 1" machen. Mal sehen ob ich das auch noch hinbekomme. Beim dem schnellen teil des Hauptsolos sehe ich allerdings schwarz. Vielleicht kann ich das etwas vereinfachen. He, das ist ja schließlich Michael Schenker. Wer kennt ihn? War auch mal bei den Scorpions.
Next I'll get to work on the solo guitar of "Mainriffs Solo 1". Let's see if I can manage that as well. With the fast part of the main solo, however, I see black. Maybe I can simplify it a bit. Hey, that's Michael Schenker after all. Who knows him? He used to be with the Scorpions.
