Un gran saludo a la comunidad musical de HIVE como lo es MUSIC, es para mi un placer traerles esta publicación en la que comenzamos esta sección denominada “Descomponiendo la Composición” en cuya primera entrega estaremos viendo una aplicación de los acordes semi-disminuidos en el tema “LA CURRUCHÁ”. Este tema lo he interpretado en dos ocasiones, la primera con el acompañamiento realizado por el maestro Miguel Mantilla, y la segunda el acompañamiento realizado por mi persona.

A big greeting to the musical community of HIVE as it is MUSIC, it is for me a pleasure to bring you this publication in which we begin this section called "Decomposing the Composition" in whose first installment we will be seeing an application of the semi-diminished chords in the theme "LA CURRUCHÁ". I have played this song twice, the first time with the accompaniment by maestro Miguel Mantilla, and the second time with the accompaniment by myself.
Ver estos momentos de interpretación de esta melodía, me llena de mucha emoción porque representan facetas de mi crecimiento en la armonía, desde la primera interpretación desde el 2002 hasta nuestros días, me siento contento por todo lo que he aprendido en el campo de la armonía musical, esencial para nutrir al máximo nuestros acompañamientos.
Seeing these moments of interpretation of this melody, fills me with great emotion because they represent facets of my growth in harmony, from the first interpretation since 2002 until today, I feel happy for all that I have learned in the field of musical harmony, essential to nurture our accompaniments to the maximum.
De allí a que este material didáctico busca poner en practica el tema de los acordes semi-disminuidos, Te invito a estudiar las anteriores publicaciones sobre “El Cómo yo he aprendido la Armonía musical” para que afiances los aspectos conceptuales que rigen no solo a los acordes semi-diminuidos abordados en la presente publicación, sino también los diversos recursos que surgen al armonizar la escala mayor, y sus relativo menor en su versión melódica, eólica y armónica.
I invite you to study the previous publications on "How I have learned musical Harmony" so that you can strengthen the conceptual aspects that govern not only the semi-diminished chords addressed in this publication, but also the various resources that arise when harmonizing the major scale, and its relative minor in its melodic, aeolian and harmonic version.
En esta oportunidad no fue un cover como tal, solamente ejecuto un fragmento del tema “La Curruchá” específicamente el que se encuentra en la tonalidad de “la menor”. Y es que los acordes semi-disminuidos son acordes menores, por eso su aplicación tiene relevancia en ese tipo de tonalidad. En esencia la aplicación viene a crear una tensión antes de llegar a la tónica menor, es decir, primero colocamos el segundo grado de la tonalidad menor, luego la dominante de la tónica de dicha tonalidad y por último la tónica en cuestión.
This time it was not a cover as such, I only performed a fragment of the song "La Curruchá", specifically the one in the key of "A minor". The semi-diminished chords are minor chords, that's why their application has relevance in that kind of key. In essence, the application comes to create a tension before reaching the minor tonic, that is to say, first we place the second degree of the minor key, then the dominant of the tonic of that key and finally the tonic in question.
En términos prácticos, tomando como referencia una de las aplicaciones hechas en el recurso audiovisual que encabeza la publicación, tenemos lo siguiente: Bm7b5 - E7 - Am. Esta secuencia es característica en la aplicación de los acordes semi-disminuidos, le da un color interesante a la musicalidad. También se puede hacer sencillo: E7 - E7- Am, pero no está demás conocer estos recursos que nutren nuestra armonización.
