Howdy, Music. Sometimes choosing a song for a contest seems to be always easy, but there are songs that are worth to have a different importance, beyond being shown in a simple contest; it is to talk about them and show a little more of the song and this is the case of “Whitesnake” a British band of “Hard Rock” that is Legendary. Their music since the 70's was considered cult and they have left great hits that currently only a few have the necessary influence to get to listen to their music and this is where their lives change. Nowadays the music is easily forgettable, they only cover a fashion and an era,

but listening to this band is to know that their music will last in time, as it is in the case of “Is This Love” which has a story behind it. A request from “Tina Torner” comes to her vocal which is to write a song for her, this request was achieved, but seeing how excellent and very heartfelt the song was for the band, they decide to keep it and that's how “Is This Love” stays in the band and becomes one of the biggest hits in the history of “Hard Rock”. A veces elegir una canción para algún concurso, parece ser siempre fácil, pero hay canciones que vale la pena que tengan una importancia diferente, más allá de ser mostradas en un simple concurso; es hablar de ellas y mostrar un poco más de la canción y este es el caso de “Whitesnake” una banda británica de “Hard Rock” que es Legendaria. Su música desde los 70´s fue considerada de culto y han dejado grandes éxitos que actualmente solo unos pocos cuentan con la influencia necesaria para llegar a escuchar su música y es acá donde sus vidas cambian. Actualmente la música es fácilmente olvidable, solo cubren una moda y época, pero escuchar a esta banda es saber que su música, perdurará en el tiempo, como lo es en el caso de “Is This Love” la cual tiene una historia detrás de ella. Una petición de “Tina Torner” llega a su vocal que es la de, escribir una canción para ella, esta solicitud se logró, pero al ver lo excelente y muy sentida que era la canción para la banda, deciden quedarse con ella y es así como “Is This Love” se queda en la banda y se convierte en uno de los mayores éxitos de la historia del “Hard Rock”. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un cover de esta banda.
