What do you do when it is cold, rainy and grey and you still wanna have a #SublimeSunday? Check out the latest @definethedollar post and get after it!
When the little ball of energy has the zoomies, nobody else is showing any interest in going out in the rain, and the blockchain is waiting for some epic story, the dude just has to abide. Throw on a hoodie and the water resistant hiking shoes and just walk out the door.
In my infinite wisdom, I decided that it was a good idea to take an extra long walk which would take me from the top of the hill, down to the bottom…where the water runs.
At least I have low cut shoes and my comfy pants on. How many times could I soak my feet and fall on my ass in the name of exercise and entertainment.
The drizzle almost turned into rain as we crossed the street to head to the river. Some trees still have leaves but the nights are getting frosty as we crawl towards December.
This is where I have to choose the shorter, safer rout or the long wet trek on the far side of the river.
You can tell by the trees growing out of the water that the river is a little swollen. Of course I have to take the latter option since I am already out here.
Fuzz face supports my choice and loves to explore the shore in search of the grey Herron we are chasing down the river. Shoes are definitely getting damp and the paths are increasing in angle while decreasing in traction but making good pace.
This is either a scene from a horror movie or me hitting the deck, which I did only once.
It is getting dark. Losing bearings and heading. There are wolves after us.
Ah there is the path back home. No sweat!
Only thing left to do is get numb nuts into the tub to wash off 6000+ steps in a muddy wonderland. This is his best am I in trouble? look. Not bad!
I hope your Sunday was sublime too!
