It's yet another weekend and the last in the month August. Very warm weather in the morning and cloudy in the evening.
I took this picture before my step count, tried to figure out what was going on in the sky lol. Its just unfortunate that my Samsung galaxy A31 smartphone could not capture this like a sophisticated camera would.
By the time I finish the steps, this is how the cloudy looked like.
I've been really busy at work these few days, trying to keep up with the sudden soaring demands. It is affecting my online activities no doubt but, I'll try as much as I can to engage.
I had the opportunity to discuss about the hive blockchain with a friend in the civil service. He was kind of bullish about it. Then he threw a question at me, the type of question I was not ready for at the moment because I'm still searching for a convincing answers as well as solutions.
The question:
How do I withdraw my earnings from the platform? He and I have been into some profitable online affiliate marketing and direct sales business previously but here, am dealing with a complete novice as far as cryptocurrency or blockchain is concerned so whatever I tell him looks strange and impossible.
He reminded me of the hurdles we faced each time we withdrew earnings from our affiliate marketing activities online; ridiculous withdrawal conditions imposed due to our location and the stress of having to first transfer the funds to a Nigerian account before cashing them out here in Mali through what we call black market exchange. It happened this way because Mali Banks do not accept fund that comes from online business of such nature.
In January this year, I approached two different banks I'm patronising to ask if I can receive cryptocurrency proceeds directly into my bank account. The response was a NO Even after explaining to them that these are incomes from investment I made with my hard earned money, they said Mali banks do not have dealing with institutions that deal with crypto or digital money, hmmmmmm!
Over the years, I've been cashing out my crypto earnings through binance, KuCoin and local p2p exchange in XOF and Naira currencies. This procedure is not easy for a French man in this part of the world. Do I feel discouraged? No way! I knew before now that this would be one of many obstacles and maybe the greatest in my journey to onboard new hivers from here. There's definitely going to be a way out by the time we start.
