Community Work

Today I had to ask for permission from my work to be able to focus completely on the realization of a community project which I had been trying to develop for quite some time, to enter a little context I must tell you that the community in which my house is located is a poorly developed urban area, where public services are not fully effective and where to improve living conditions requires a perfect coordination between public entities and private owners. After many meetings, some requests and tireless work, today I managed to get the National Electric Corporation to grant us the benefit of six street lights, which should be installed immediately and I, being responsible for the management, had to be aware of all this work.

Trabajo Comunitario

Hoy me tocó pedir permiso en mi trabajo para poder abocarme por completo en la concreción de un proyecto comunitario el cual venía tratando de desarrollar desde hace bastante tiempo, para entrar un poco en contexto debo comentarles que la comunidad en la cual se encuentra mi casa es un espacio urbano poco desarrollado, en donde los servicios públicos no son totalmente eficaces y en dónde para poder mejorar las condiciones de vida hace falta una coordinación perfecta entre los entes públicos y los propietarios privados. Después de muchas reuniones, algunas solicitudes y un trabajo incansable, hoy logré que la Corporación Eléctrica Nacional nos otorgara el beneficio de seis luminarias de alumbrado público, las cuales deberían ser instaladas de inmediato y yo por ser el responsable de la gestión Tenía que estar al tanto de todo este trabajo.

That is how my day began very early, preparing coffee and getting some bread ready for the crew that was about to arrive, once the truck arrived to the territory they began to observe which were the points that had to be attended and immediately unloaded all the lamps and prepared them to be installed. In previous days I had the task of installing all the arms and poles where the lights were going to be installed, the idea of all this previous work was that the crew would attend to us as quickly as possible today, which went without a hitch.

Es así como mi día comenzó muy temprano, preparando café y alistando unos panes para la cuadrilla que estaba por llegar, una vez llegó el camión al territorio se dispusieron a observar cuáles eran los puntos que debían ser atendidos y de forma inmediata descargaron todas las lámparas y se dispusieron a prepararlas para posteriormente ser instaladas. En días previos me tocó junto a la comunidad instalar todos los brazos y postes en donde van a ser instaladas las luminarias, en la idea de todo este trabajo previo era que la cuadrilla el día de hoy nos atendiera de la manera más rápida posible, lo cual sin ninguna novedad.

Although in about 3 hours they had covered all the points to be treated, this meant a constant walking from one place to another, solving some last minute details, having the logistics in tune and at the same time being attentive that everything was done in the right way, so that in the future there would be no major inconveniences. Although everything sounds very calm and moving, the work required a perpetual dynamism, which made me walk until I got tired, covering my daily cardiovascular training.

A pesar de que en unas 3 horas habían cubierto todos los puntos a tratar esto significó un constante andar de un lado a otro, resolviendo algunos detalles de último momento, teniendo a tono la logística y al mismo tiempo estando atento de que todo se realizara de la manera correcta, para en un futuro no tener mayores inconvenientes. Aunque todo suene muy tranquilo y conmovedor, el trabajo realizado requirió de un perpetuo dinamismo, el cual me hizo caminar hasta el cansancio, cubriendo así mi entrenamiento cardiovascular diario.

At the end of the day all this effort is rewarded by the brightness of streets that will never be dark again, this was the result of a work perfectly carried out by an extraordinary team, which allowed to harmoniously combine the organized community and various state entities, I hope that in the future many other works of this type will be carried out, to gradually move forward along the path of a more developed and prosperous community.

Al final del día todo este esfuerzo se ve recompensado por el brillo de unas calles que más nunca estarán oscuras, este fue el resultado de un trabajo perfectamente llevado a cabo por un equipo extraordinario, el cual permitió conjugar de manera armónica a la comunidad organizada y a diversos entes del estado, espero que en un futuro muchos otros trabajos de este tipo se lleven a cabo, para poco a poco ir avanzando por el camino de una comunidad más desarrollada y próspera.
