Hoy fue un día lleno de colores en liceo, me tocaba atender a la sección donde soy profesor guía, teníamos una tarea pendiente asignada por la jefa de evaluación atendiendo el llamado al recibimiento de las Navidades en nuestra institución.

Así que nos dispusimos a olvidarnos del pizarrón, los cuadernos y la rutina diaria que generalmente se ve dentro de los salones para comenzar a crear, producir y activar el trabajo en equipo para lograr una meta común.

Today was a day full of colors in high school, I had to attend to the section where I am a teacher guide, we had a pending task assigned by the head of evaluation in response to the call to receive Christmas in our institution.

So we set out to forget the blackboard, the notebooks and the daily routine that is usually seen inside the classrooms to start creating, producing and activating teamwork to achieve a common goal.

En días previos se asignó los materiales e implementos que debía traer cada estudiante basado en la idea que teníamos en un principio desarrollar. Forrar la puerta con cartulina negra, para luego colocar un paisaje cagado de colores para marcar un contraste llamativo y que estuviese fuera de lo básico.

In previous days we assigned the materials and implements to be brought by each student based on the idea we had initially developed. Lining the door with black cardboard, and then placing a colorful landscape to mark a striking contrast and that was out of the basics.

Es genial trabajar con este grupo, es muy talentos, trabajan unidos y tienen varios líderes positivos que se han ganado el respeto a lo largo de los años. No se puede negar que también hay otros estudiantes que les cuesta integrarse y colaborar, pero al final se contagian y/o se busca la manera de involucrarlos.

It is great to work with this group, it is very talented, they work together and have several positive leaders who have earned respect over the years. There is no denying that there are also other students who have a hard time integrating and collaborating, but in the end they catch on and/or we find a way to get them involved.

El dibujo principal estuvo a cargo de Astrid, una estudiante muy dulce y que estaba muy orgullosa de lo que había logrado en tan poco tiempo. El dibujo lo comenzó a trabajar hace cuatro días, pensando en terminarlo dentro del aula con los detalles y resaltar las sombras. Lo cierto, es que faltaba más de lo esperado, así que se necesitó un poco de ayuda. El resultado fue increíble.

The main drawing was done by Astrid, a very sweet student who was very proud of what she had accomplished in such a short time. She started working on the drawing four days ago, thinking of finishing it in the classroom with the details and highlighting the shadows. The truth is that it was missing more than expected, so a little help was needed. The result was amazing.

Los chicos aprovecharon para distraerse un poco, se colocó algo de música. Un grupo se encargaba de guindar en las paredes adornos con temática navideña, otros terminaron de colocar el arbolito y otro grupo quedo a cargo de la puerta.

The kids took the opportunity to distract themselves a little, some music was played. One group was in charge of hanging Christmas-themed decorations on the walls, others finished putting up the tree and another group was in charge of the door.

No logramos terminar la puerta, pero gran parte del trabajo se realizó. Todos quedamos satisfechos del trabajo realizado. Aproveche para felicitarlos por la unión que se demostró y el sentido de pertenencia que se pudo observar para cuando hay tareas asignadas al grupo.

We did not manage to finish the door, but much of the work was done. We were all satisfied with the work done. I took the opportunity to congratulate them for the union that was demonstrated and the sense of belonging that could be observed for when there are tasks assigned to the group.

Eso fue lo que más resalto en mi día, pero luego las actividades diarias me llevaron más al oeste de la ciudad para visitar a mi papá, luego baje un poco para tomar el almuerzo, revisar algunos detalles en casa, para después salir a una encuentro con unos amigos para tomar café y pasar una tarde noche conversando los por menores de la semana y lo que está por venir. El regreso a la casa, me lo tomé fresco e hice una larga caminata para completar mi registro en el contador de actifit. Bastante movido, varias actividades, pero todas con saldo positivo. Saludos.

That was the highlight of my day, but then the daily activities took me further west of the city to visit my dad, then down a bit to grab lunch, go over some details at home, then out to meet some friends for coffee and spend an evening talking about the week's smallest portions and what's to come. On the way back home, I took a long walk to complete my registration in the actifit counter. Quite busy, several activities, but all with a positive balance. Greetings.
