What a difference a few hours make. My Actifit Report Card: October 19 2024

In the morning I walked the dog like I always do. Or at least almost always. Got a bunch of steps and it was actually quite nice. Of course I had to work so I didn't get to walk as long as I wanted and there was always "gotta work soon" gloom hanging over my day.

Then it was off to work (ugh). Now in addition to wanting to retire my body has developed an allergy to the adhesive on prescription labels. So, every label I put on a vial is another label that is causing my fingers to burn, split and bleed. Working more days than normal as my boss is on vacation has made sure that my fingers are very very sore.

Sure it doesn't look like much. But when there are a total of 8 splits on my fingers doing little things like making a fist to grab something or even typing on a keyboard get painful (sigh).

Then after work time to come home, horray!

And my son had already walked my dog for the evening! Double Horray!

Especially nice since the weather got really wet really quickly.

Of course I would take my doggo out in the rain for his evening walk but if my son does it for me and I don't have to go out in a rainstorm with gusting winds then I'm much much happier to stay at home and watch some TV!

Which is what I did.

Means I didn't get nearly as many steps as I usually would, but when the weather is this bad, I can live with that. At least I got enough to post on Actifit and that will be fine with me for the day.

So, thanks for dropping by.

..... until tomorrow.

Oh.... and just a side note for anyone who is actually reading this.... I have actually lost 4.5kg (10lbs) since I started my diet just over a month ago. Pretty happy with that.
