My Actifit Report Card: July 30 2022

Finally! I'm back to Actifit after a break that was caused by my phone combined with laziness.

About a month ago or so, the Actifit app started acting weird. On some days it was recording 0 steps, on others much fewer than what my usual step counter shows. I had enabled auto start and disabled putting the app to background, yet it was still acting weird. That got me discouraged and I decided to wait for an update. It seems that the major changes in the app also fixed my problems.

On Thursday when I updated it, I was really keen on sharing a post. Then, at 23.30 I realised that I have only about 4100 steps for the day...

I thought, fine, I can maybe cheat a bit and do some exercise while holding the phone. Technically, I wouldn't be walking, though that would actually be more beneficial from a health perspective.

So, I started racing against the clock. I was using the resist bands, doing squats, anything that I could think of. It was almost midnight. I thought, just a bit more... let's see if I try doing it faster... well, sadly, th1 clock was ultimately the winner. I managed to do some 4800 steps. I wasn't disappointed, but actually, I'm grateful that Actifit made me exercise and got my heart rate quite high.

Next morning, I woke up and told myself that I have to make sure I hit the 5000 steps that I just barely missed the day before.

Ouch, Ouch, Ouch... all the muscles on my legs hurt!

Seems that I had pretty decent exercise the evening before.

Friday was a busy day, so I couldn't go for a long walk. Exercising at home was... slightly challenging... so, I decided to leave the day as a rest day and try to get 5000 on Saturday. And I managed.

I entered "success" to starryai to get an artwork for this post. The result is quite interesting.
