Hi Everyone,
Winter has arrived in the UK. We've had several thick frost days/nights in a row and not enough sunshine and warmth in the day to melt it. The outside water fountain is frozen on all three levels. Today feels the coldest day of the winter so far. The gate to Hamlet and Lily's area was frozen closed. I used my shovel to unwedge it. My hands were burning with the cold. I think the gloves I used from the garage had frost on the inside. They froze my hands. Once i reentered the house. It took about 20 minutes to get them feeling normal again. I need to move the gloves inside the house and warm them before putting them on.

I managed to upload a video and a post since my previous Actifit Report and Update. The video was about my 2023 Economics Contests and my post was about opinions and changing of opinions.
I wanted to make the video outside but the weather was not good enough. At the time, it was cold and muddy, which was probably as bad as cold and frozen. I decided to make the video inside. I did not have a spot to make videos, so I made some space in the office. Too much room was being taken up by a poor layout, mess, and partly open boxes. I arranged everything to how I wanted it. It took less than two days.
In the video, I discussed ten economics contests. Six of them from previous challenge series and four new ones. I discussed the new prize structure. I will be giving away Hive Power instead of Hive. I also provided a brief update on the 2023 Challenge Series. The Christmas Contest will begin in about week's time.
In my written post, I discussed opinions. I focused strongly on what influences them. These are our experiences, information, people, and culture and beliefs. All of these can strongly influence how we form opinions as well as how we change our opinions. I also discussed how our perceptions affect how we react to different forms of influences as well as how different influences affect our perceptions. For example, we could encounter a strong influence who affects both our opinions and how perceive other influences. Our changed perceptions could affect how receptive we are to new influences.
The post was Part One of a two -part series I am writing about opinions. In Part Two, I will discuss some of my personal experiences and how I have been influenced at different points in my life. This post should be ready in a few days.
