Hi Everyone,
I think it has been a fairly interesting week. In the UK, in the same week, there has been a change of Prime Minister (Head of Government) and Monarch (Head of State). Liz Truss replaced Boris Johnson on Tuesday and King Charles succeeded Queen Elizabeth when she passed away on Thursday.
On paper, these are two significant changes. In reality, what will actually change? The direction of the Government is not going to change in any significant way. Liz Truss's approach appears very similar to Boris Johnson's. The most significant impact is likely to be the next General Election as people are less likely to vote for a Liz Truss led party.
The change in monarch could be more significant. It is likely that the push to remove the monarchy will become more vocal. There is a possibility that the tensions between the king and his second son Harry and his wife will become intense and more public. This would be used as both a distraction from real world events as well as creating more division within the country. I doubt the media would want to waste this opportunity.
My Content
Since my previous Actifit Report and Update, I have posted three times. Two posts relate to the Challenge Series and the other one was a video about the Jurassic World Evolution 2 PS4 game.
The Challenge Series enters its fifth week. The sixth challenge has begun and has about a day left for participants to enter. This Challenge is the original Buying and Selling Game. This is the only challenge to have been included in all three challenge series. This challenge is the most well known of all the challenges. Participation has been good so far with about 10 entries. We could reach 12 again.
In the other Challenge Series post, I announced the results of Challenge 3: Tax Game. This challenge had a high rate of participation and the results were very close. It was also nice to see a few fresh faces perform well in this challenge. Looks like the challenges are becoming more competitive. The race to become Challenge Series winner is very much open.
In my third post, I discussed a PS4 game I have been playing for the past 6 months. This game is Jurassic World Evolution 2. It is a dinosaur park building game. The post contained an hour and a half long video exploring the game and the park I built in sandbox mode. I built a huge dinosaur park with around 150 dinosaurs and 38 different species. The park is based in a cold environment (Sierra Nevada). Dinosaurs in the snow; that's something a bit different. The video explores the park in several different ways.
- Through the air by helicopter.
- Above by monorail.
- On the ground by Jeep Tour Ride.
- On the ground in the Gyrosphere.
- In the aviaries observing the flying dinosaurs.
- Through the observation decks of the fight arena.
The video was fun to make. It is very long. The post breaks down the video by section so you can skip to the part that sounds most interesting if you are short on time.
Before I go, just a quick account of my activity. I managed over 10,000 counts yesterday. Most of that was walking in town. I needed to pick up a few things. Most important item was another tube of silicone to finish off a few touch ups on the fountain. I should have a picture of the completed fountain to share next week.
