Silvertop always enjoys a long hike in the Mountains!😇
Today the tall trees were “Talking back”……………….😳
Walking through the forest you could hear the sound of trees crashing into other trees, our second high wind storm of the year was ramping up!🙄
“I didn’t see this storm coming Liz, it’s a good thing I left the propane tank hooked up to the generator!”
You can see our secluded dead end old logging road in the second photo, it looks peaceful……………….
The look you see AFTER a powerful storm has ended…………….
Earlier this morning we were headed down the Mountain to our Church in the valley………..
Silvertop was cautiously peering out the window, checking out the swollen river that runs through this valley…………😮
The USGS states that flood stage for the river at the bridge in the valley town of Everson Wa. Is 83 feet.
Last night it crested at 82.06 feet, and at the time that I am writing this post it has dropped to 79 feet!😅
Then today, the heavy rains and wind, started…….. …..again!😳
“Honey, I think Cyle has the right idea, he is sound asleep in our bed Lol!”
“Silvertop, just look at Cot, he’s out like a light as well Lol!” 😻
“ Smart boys honey, and it’s so good to be back home, on higher ground, in the Mountains!”😇
