My Actifit Report Card: January 22 2024

the sun will come out...

i've got very little to none activity during the day time. nada! zilch! none! just walked a block away to buy some lunch and went back. that's it. i could have taken the stairs back to my room but, nah. the weather is not helping as well: gloomy cold cuddle weather.

today is again a leg day. dreaded! thankfully the gym is not that packed but the free weight area is. these men... i usually go with a gym buddy on routine days; i fear that i might faint by my own if i don't. irrational, i know. we always start with pull ups; i'm very proud of ourselves for finally getting to do this. we could not even pull a single when we started. this served as our warm up as well. by the end, i am exhausted. it is a good type of exhaustion. if legs had mouth, i probably would hear it spitting profanities as fast as eminem.

leg routine
pull ups (12 x 10)
squats (70kg x 3 x 12)
dead lift (40kg x 3 x 12)
lunges (25kg x 3 x 12 per leg)
bulgarian split squat (25kg x 2 x 12 per leg)
leg extensions (52kg x 4 x 10)
leg press (154kg x 4 x 10)
leg curls (36kg x 4 x 10)

and for those who plan to go to the gym but are afraid, just go! ask guidance from the instructor. no one started as experts, and frequent gym goers do not even know all, too. you might look like complete fools to others but who cares? there is no competition between members. you only compete with yourself, with your past self.
