I skipped my walk for the past few days because I didn’t want to deal with the potentially slippery conditions due to the snow we had, but it stayed above freezing last night so I figured things would be clear enough for my walk this morning. There was still a bit of unmelted snow around, but the paths were definitely walkable. About ten minutes into my walk I needed to blow my nose but I realized I had forgotten to bring any tissues with me like I usually do, so I turned around and got them before setting out again. I thought that was going to be a big blow to my motivation, but once I got to the parks area I was able to let habit take over and I went all the way to Alton Baker. It was nice to be able to get outside again. It might get cold again tonight which could lead to icy conditions again, but I’m hoping that won’t be an issue for tomorrow.
