Yellow on the gulf - watercolors on paper

Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a watercolor painting depicting a brightly colored seascape. The subject I depicted depicts a glimpse of the sea with a group of buildings and a pier stretching out into the water.

In this painting I wanted to play with warm and cool tones to increase the visual contrast. In it, yellows, ochre, and orange predominate but counterpoint the cool colors of the sky and sea.

Much importance I put on the white, unpainted parts of the landscape to have a fairer balance.

Giallo sul golfo - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi rono a condividere un dipinto ad acquarello che raffigura un paesaggio marino dai colori accesi. Il soggetto che ho rappresentato raffigura uno scorcio di mare con un gruppo di edifici ed un molo che si protendono nell'acqua.
In questo dipinto ho voluto giocare con toni caldi e freddi per aumentare il contrasto visivo. In esso predominano i gialli, l'ocra, arancione ma fanno da contrappunto i colori freddi del cielo e del mare. Molta importanza ho fatto assumere alle parti bianche, non dipinte del paesaggio, per avere un bilanciamento più equo.
