Slow down, listen and listen to myself.
My stay at the Villa Savorelli was guided by these intentions as well as my artistic activity.
I took the time to paint once again these young laurel shoots, trying to protect the luminosity of the place.
I realized how lucky I was to be in the middle of nature, painting on paper, instead of pixels in front of my computer window.
Enriched by my observation for the previous watercolor, I opted for a horizontal format and meticulously set up the colors and shapes.
The sky, which until now had been very overcast, cleared.
I'll finalize the painting another day.
The next day I added the warm colors of the ground that contrasted with the atmosphere of the foliage.
I then accentuated the darker values.

Bajar el ritmo, escuchar, escucharse a sí mismo.
Mi estancia en Villa Savorelli estuvo guiada por estas intenciones y por mi actividad artística.
Me tomé el tiempo de pintar una vez más estos jóvenes brotes de laurel, intentando proteger la luminosidad del lugar.
Me di cuenta de la suerte que tenía de estar en medio de la naturaleza, pintando en papel, y no en píxeles frente a la pequeña ventana de mi ordenador.
Enriquecido por mi observación para la acuarela anterior, opté por un formato horizontal y dispuse meticulosamente los colores y las formas.
El cielo, que hasta entonces había estado muy nublado, se aclaró.
Otro día finalizaré el cuadro.
Al día siguiente añadí los colores cálidos del suelo que contrastaban con la atmósfera del follaje.
Luego acentué los valores más oscuros.

Rallentare, ascoltare, ascoltare se stessi.
Il mio soggiorno a Villa Savorelli è stato guidato da queste intenzioni e dalla mia attività artistica.
Mi sono preso il tempo di dipingere ancora una volta questi giovani germogli di alloro, cercandodi proteggere la luminosità del luogo.
Mi sono reso conto di quanto fossi fortunato a trovarmi in mezzo alla natura, a dipingere su carta, anziché su pixel davanti alla piccola finestra del mio computer.
Forte dell'osservazione fatta per l'acquerello precedente, ho optato per un formato orizzontale e ho impostato meticolosamente i colori e le forme.
Il cielo, che fino a quel momento era molto coperto, si è schiarito.
Finalizzerò il dipinto un altro giorno.
Il giorno successivo ho aggiunto i colori caldi del terreno che contrastavano con l'atmosfera del fogliame.
Ho poi accentuato i valori più scuri.

Mon séjour à la villa Savorelli a été guidé par ces intentions ainsi que mon activité artistique.
Je pris le temps de peindre une nouvelle fois ces jeunes pousses de laurier en essayant de protéger la luminosité du lieu.
Je réalisai la chance que j'avais de me retrouver au milieu de certe nature à peindre sur du papier, plutôt que sur des pixels devant la petite fenêtre de mon ordinateur.
Enrichi par mon observation pour la précédente aquarelle, j'optai pour un format horizontal et mis en place méticuleusement les couleurs et les formes.
Le ciel, qui jusqu'ici avait été très couvert, se dégagea.
Je finaliserai la peinture un autre jour.
Le lendemain, j'ajoutai les couleurs chaudes du sol qui contrastait avec l'atmosphère des feuillages.
J'accentuai ensuite les valeurs les plus sombres.
