Estudiante de Medicina.

No cabe en palabras escritas todo lo que siente mi corazón, mi alma y mi mente, saberte que ya estás en esa etapa universitaria para mí es algo grande y estoy seguro de que para ti también lo es.

Este lunes pasado, 21 de octubre, comenzaste a estudiar la carrera que desde pequeña decías que ibas a estudiar. Siempre fuiste muy comprometida con tus estudios porque ya desde muy pequeña sabías que para estudiar medicina necesitabas tener un buen promedio en bachillerato y te diste la tarea de estudiar de manera constante y dedicada para ser la mejor en tus estudios y tener la mejor calificación que te mereces por tu esfuerzo constante.

Hoy te veo subir esas escaleras de la entrada a la escuela de básico, donde comienzas una nueva etapa de tu vida. Son escaleras que paso a paso y año a año seguirás subiendo hasta terminar tu carrera. No seré y nunca lo he sido un hombre pesimista, sino siempre seré ese papá que te va a impulsar y apoyar en lo que necesites y en las medidas de mis posibilidades. No te haré las cosas, nunca lo hago, pero seguiré mostrándote cómo puedes hacer, y si no lo sabes, te ayudaré a buscar la solución porque yo también quiero aprender.

Estoy orgulloso de ti y cabe en mi corazón tanta emoción y alegría verte feliz. Escucharte hablar en estos dos días de lo que estás viviendo en la universidad, veo cómo lo cuentas con esa emoción de lo nuevo que estás aprendiendo. Siento que estás hecha para eso, bueno, siempre fue tu deseo y desde ayer se hace realidad.

Es posible que no sea fácil, pero ten en cuenta algo: cuando algo no es fácil para ti es porque cosas fuera de ti te lo ponen difícil, sin embargo, no es imposible. No te dejes caer por esas personas pesimistas que ven a la medicina como una carrera donde tienes que estudiar mucho. Ten en cuenta que, en parte, ellos tienen razón porque no es para ellos, es para personas como tú que se esfuerzan por ser alguien que se ocupa en ser una mejor persona gracias a lo que estudias y gracias a los conocimientos que paso a paso vas adquiriendo.

La medicina es un viaje apasionante y lleno de retos. Ayer lunes 21 de octubre, mi princesa, iniciaste este camino con la ilusión y la determinación que te caracterizan. Recuerda que cada obstáculo es una oportunidad para crecer y aprender. Cultiva tu pasión por la ciencia, pero no olvides la importancia de la empatía y la humanidad en tu profesión. Eres capaz de lograr todo lo que te propongas. Confía en ti misma y sigue adelante, porque tienes el potencial de marcar una gran diferencia en el mundo. Estoy contigo en cada paso del camino, apoyándote y celebrando tus logros. ¡El futuro de la medicina está en tus manos!

It does not fit in written words all that my heart, my soul and my mind feel, knowing that you are already in this university stage is something great for me and I am sure it is for you too.

This past Monday, October 21, you began to study the career that you said you were going to study since you were a little girl. You were always very committed to your studies because since you were very young you knew that to study medicine you needed to have a good average in high school and you gave yourself the task of studying in a constant and dedicated way to be the best in your studies and to have the best grade you deserve for your constant effort.

Today I see you climbing those stairs at the entrance to the elementary school, where you begin a new stage of your life. They are stairs that step by step and year by year you will continue to climb until you finish your career. I will not be and never have been a pessimistic man, but I will always be that dad who will push you and support you in whatever you need and to the best of my ability. I will not do things to you, I never do, but I will continue to show you how you can do, and if you don't know, I will help you find the solution because I want to learn too.

I am proud of you and it fits in my heart so much emotion and joy to see you happy. Listening to you talk in these two days about what you are experiencing at the university, I see how you tell it with the excitement of the new things you are learning. I feel that you are made for it, well, it was always your wish and since yesterday it has come true.

It may not be easy, but keep in mind something: when something is not easy for you it is because things outside of you make it difficult for you, however, it is not impossible. Don't fall for those pessimistic people who see medicine as a career where you have to study hard. Keep in mind that, in part, they are right because it is not for them, it is for people like you who strive to be someone who is busy being a better person thanks to what you study and thanks to the knowledge that step by step you acquire.

Medicine is an exciting and challenging journey. Yesterday, Monday, October 21, my princess, you started this journey with the enthusiasm and determination that characterize you. Remember that every obstacle is an opportunity to grow and learn. Cultivate your passion for science, but do not forget the importance of empathy and humanity in your profession***. You are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. Trust yourself and keep going, because you have the potential to make a big difference in the world. I am with you every step of the way, supporting you and celebrating your achievements - the future of medicine is in your hands!
