hello HIVE friends in this community, today I made a herbal drink that will improve your digestion and act as an anti-allergic and inflammatory drink. The ingredients I use are not too difficult to get in my city and everything is free except Cheasheed which I have to buy at the shop.
materials needed
1. Telang flower
This telang flower has the Latin word Clitoria ternatea. Apart from being beautiful, this flower has many benefits for the body, it is believed to reduce fever, is anti-cancer, rich in antioxidants and improves digestion and reduces hypertension. Apart from making drinks, butterfly pea flowers can also be used as a natural coloring in making food. However, in this recipe I use butterfly pea flowers not only as a coloring but also as an ingredient for my herbal drink. In this recipe I use 7 semi-dried butterfly pea flowers. You can use dried or fresh butterfly pea flowers.
2. lemongrass
Lemongrass is a plant that is very easy to grow and I have lots of lemongrass plants in my yard. This lemongrass also has many benefits like the butterfly pea flower and one of them is that it also facilitates digestion. In this recipe I use more lemongrass, around 4 stalks of lemongrass so that the taste of the lemongrass and fragrance in this herbal drink is much stronger.
3. cheasheed (basil seeds)
In this recipe I use 1 tablespoon of cheasheed to make my digestion much smoother
4. lemons
Lemon here, apart from having good benefits for the body, uses lemon in this recipe to make my drink much fresher and makes my throat feel fresher and a little pricklier, especially when I drink it while it's warm, and I only use this lemon as needed, about ½ to 1 lemon
5. water
I made this drink for just one serving of herbal drink and for one serving so I only needed 1 glass of water.
how to make :
1. I wash the telang flowers first so that the ash that sticks to them can be removed then I put the telang flowers into the pan.
2. Then I clean the lemongrass and wash it first, then I cut it into pieces, then I put it in the pot along with the butterfly pea flowers.
3. After that I added cheese
4. and water for the next ingredients then I cook until it boils
5. After boiling and putting it in a glass, then I cut a lemon and put it in the glass
6. And before I serve the lemongrass, I throw it away first so it doesn't bother me when I drink it later.
7. Herbal drinks can be enjoyed. You can add honey if you want this herbal to be sweeter, but I want to enjoy this herbal slowly and relaxed without any additional sweeteners.
Every person and every country has its own herbal drink. In Indonesia there are many recipes for herbal drinks and one of them is the drink I made and it is very useful for facilitating digestion due to a lack of fiber for example. and what is clear is that this drink is not painful at all when we drink it. as relaxed as life is, enjoy this drink, greetings from me.
