This afternoon I will make a fresh drink again with a little granulated sugar. Sweet drinks that are not too sweet, rich in fiber and contain real fruit and no added sweeteners, artificial sweeteners or preservatives like the fresh drink powders that I often encounter contain other additives. For the past month I have been crazy about red food and drinks. Usually I make it all from a mixture of beets, but now I will make this red drink from Dragon Fruit, which is still in season in my city, even though the fruit is small, it tastes quite sweet.
To make this drink you don't need a lot of equipment or difficult ingredients. and to answer your curiosity, I will list the ingredients you must have to make this fresh drink.
The ingredients needed to make this drink are:
1. 2 spoons of granulated sugar
2. 1 red dragon
3. 1 teaspoon of Agar-Agar powder (not more than this, but less is fine, because the use of agar-agar powder is only to thicken the texture of the drink a little but not to solidify the recipe like when we make pudding.)
4. 300 ML water
5. ice cubes.
how to make :
1. Take the flesh of the red dragon fruit and mash it using just a spoon because I want to make this drink with dragon fruit flesh that still has texture and can be enjoyed
2. After the fruit flesh is slightly crushed, mix in the granulated sugar
3. Then mix 1 teaspoon of agar powder. Here, it's like one packet, but 1 packet of agar-agar. I have used it several times to make this drink and it was only in the last day that I realized that I had never shared the recipe for this drink with you.
4. After that, add the water then stir all the ingredients and mask over medium heat, once it boils, let it sit until it cools, then add the ice cubes into it.
5. Dragon fruit drink is finished with a fresh sensation, if you have mint leaves it will be even fresher, but I don't have them now.
This drink is not only fresh but rich in fiber, because we used Agar-Agar powder, we will get a thick texture, but don't expect this agar-agar powder to become solid because the composition of this recipe contains more water than the agar-agar powder. and the gelatin powder here is only intended as a thickener and to increase body fiber, not to compact the mixture. and I made this drink for 2 servings.
