to be consistent in making something a good habit is very difficult but because it has become a routine there is something missing when I don't do it. one of the activities that has now become my routine and until now a commitment is to make colorful smoothies every day and this is not easy but I succeeded after 3 months without stopping I consume smoothies and make them myself every morning. today I will make a pink smoothie to start my day before going to work and how to do it is also not difficult
The ingredients are:
1. 1 Dragon fruit (the dragon fruit I used here I had previously stored in the freezer and I only took the flesh of the dragon fruit.)
2. 3 bananas (the bananas I used were ripe and ready to eat and you can use any bananas according to the available supplies)
3. 250 ML water
4. Strawberry flavored condensed milk as a complement (the presence of this milk can be omitted, because I will only use this milk as a topping.)
Procedure:
To make this recipe is very easy like making other smoothies and there is no need to add honey, granulated sugar or other artificial sweeteners to this recipe because bananas and dragon fruit are a combination of fruits that have a fairly sweet taste and in this recipe there is the presence of strawberry-flavored condensed milk so that I have a gradient pattern on the glass but I do not use condensed milk as the main ingredient in making my smoothies.
The steps in making this smoothie are also just mixing the ingredients and there is no need to hesitate which ingredients will be put into the blender first. but in this recipe I chose to put the dragon fruit in first then I put the banana, I put all the ingredients in the same blender
after all the fruit is in, then I add water to it and blend until smooth several times to get maximum results.
my banana dragon fruit smoothie is done and ready to be enjoyed.
because bananas are filling so consuming this smoothie in the morning as a substitute for breakfast is highly recommended. as my own personal experience I am an Indonesian who has a term if we have not eaten rice we are not considered to have eaten. and I am used to having rice for breakfast every morning but when I consume this smoothie before breakfast, my stomach can feel full from 7 am to 10 am. although not too long but very efficient to cut coffee break with unhealthy snacks and I can replace my coffee break by eating rice.
and it is very difficult to eliminate the rice though. hopefully little by little I will no longer be dependent on rice.
