Quizás conozcan a Barbara del reciente concurso de costura de Barbie, ella fue una guerrera en esa ocasión, pero ella es muchas cosas así que hoy quiero contarles sobre este nuevo reto en el cual estoy trabajando que es coser pequeños patrones para barbie.
Obtuve mi Barbie como un regalo de mi novio y él está ayudando con los zapatos y accesorios impresos en 3d (si quieren saber más les dejo su cuenta @nitsuga12) yo por mi parte me encargo de hacer los vestidos, tenía ganas de hacer ropa para barbie hace un tiempo ya que eso me permite usar mis retazos pequeños y realmente tengo bastantes, después tengo que encontrar un lugar donde donar todos estos atuendos que haga ya que me gustaría que vaya a niñas que usan muñecas así tienen muchos atuendos para vestirlas

I got my Barbie as a gift from my boyfriend and he is helping with the 3d printed shoes and accessories (if you want to know more I leave his account @nitsuga12) I for one am in charge of making the dresses, I wanted to make clothes for barbie for a while as that allows me to use my little scraps and i actually have quite a few, then i have to find a place to donate all these outfits i make as i would like it to go to girls who wear dolls so they have lots of outfits to dress them up
Para hacer los patrones no me base en nada que haya en internet, sino que empecé a fabricar los míos propios, lo que estoy haciendo es encintar todo el cuerpo de mi Barbie para marcar donde está su busto, su cintura y las mangas, también hice la base de la parte inferior, pero es simplemente el contorno de su cintura y cadera y el largo aproximado, esto es útil para obtener las bases y transformar, realmente no es diferente del patronaje a escala normal solo es más difícil a la hora de coser.
To make the patterns I don't base myself on anything on the internet, but I started to make my own, what I'm doing is taping the entire body of my Barbie to mark where her bust, waist and sleeves are, I also did the base of the bottom, but it's just the outline of her waist and hips and the approximate length, this is useful for getting the bases and transforming, it's really no different from normal scale pattern making it's just more difficult when sewing .
Para estrenar los patrones hice dos atuendos que son vestidos, todo usando materiales que serían descarte, pero ahora son atuendos pequeños, también voy a compartirles algunos trucos que aprendí, yo miro muchas muchas horas de contenido de costura así que algo aprendí de solo observar.
En general coser copas de mangas (esta es mi opinión personal) es una completa tortura jajaja y eso hablando de escala real, ya que a veces las curvas lo complican todo, así que una buena idea es hacer manga japonesa, es un tipo de manga muy usada en indumentaria y elimina completamente las curvas, simplemente se extiende el hombro y se añade el largo.

In general, sewing sleeve cups (this is my personal opinion) is complete torture hahaha and that's speaking of real scale, since sometimes the curves complicate everything, so a good idea is to make Japanese manga, it's a type of manga widely used in clothing and completely eliminates curves, simply extends the shoulder and adds length.
Hice este vestido de prueba con tela elástica para probar que mi máquina podía coserlo sin problemas, no soy de coser pequeñas piezas y esto es todo un reto nuevo para mí, pero pude hacerlo, y también hice ruedo en el vestido, y para ser la primera pieza está bastante bien.
I made this test dress out of stretchy fabric to prove that my machine could sew it smoothly, I'm not one to sew small pieces and this is a new challenge for me, but I was able to do it, and I also hemmed the dress, and to be the first piece is pretty good.
La segunda prenda fue un vestido largo ajustado con escote corazón jajaja yo sé que estarán pensando que aumenté muy rápido la dificultad, pero si uno sabe los trucos todo es más simple de hacer.
The second item was a long fitted dress with a sweetheart neckline hahaha I know you're thinking that I increased the difficulty very quickly, but if you know the tricks everything is easier to do.
Para hacer el escote corazón utilicé dos medios círculos y los cosí dobles de tela para que así tengan terminación rápida y fácil, y para formar el corazón simplemente cosí un pequeño tramo de los círculos por los costados, con todo esto listo fue fácil añadirlos a la falda del vestido que solo es un rectángulo.
Añadí un elástico para que sea el sostén del vestido por el cuello y eso fue todo.
To make the sweetheart neckline I used two half circles and sewed them double with fabric so that they have a quick and easy finish, and to form the heart I simply sewed a small section of the circles on the sides, with all this ready it was easy to add them to the skirt of the dress that is just a rectangle. I added an elastic band to support the dress around the neck and that was it.
También hice una pequeña sesión de fotos con Barbara y sus nuevos atuendos, realmente se ven muy lindos, y me encantan las cosas pequeñas, tengo muchas ideas que quiero hacer y como tengo mucha tela que aprovechar solo necesito tiempo para llevar todo esto a cabo, espero que les gusten ❤️ hasta la próxima ❤️
