I combined some Swarovski glass crystals and silver-plated spacer beads with chandelier blanks and some scrap chain to fill the extra spaces. The large glass beads were labeled as leaves, so while I see little resemblance, I decided to use the last of some small leaf beads on either side to balance it out.
The materials cost here must have been $10 or so, even considering the sale prices I try to find, and the assembly was fairly tedious and time-consuming. I will have to ask $20 when I sell. If anyone bites, maybe I'll need to explore more elaborate projects with nicer materials. Meanwhile, I have some green and blue beads and some aquatic charms I may assemble into a similar pair as another speculative project.
I do slightly envy these glass baubles. Made in Austria, packaged in China, then assembled in the USA? These earrings are globe-trotting marvels!
