To all the nomads out there, hope you are all well,
I got my wedding album yesterday. And to be honest, I am so glad, we did things our way.
We decided to not go big. And honestly it was the best desision we ever made. Me, not big for atention, my husband... not even a little bit.
And we were always talking about spending money on a great honeymoon, than a big wedding.
But you know us women, I still wanted a dress and pretty photos, that would remind me of the day we became a family under the same Surname.
Because of the covid situation there was not much left than exploring our small but beautiful surroundings. There is a place close to my hometown, that realy means alot to me, sentimentally and also visualy. Kamniška Bistrica is a river that goes by my house and her spring is something so special.
I am so glad we got married in fall, for color of the water was in perfect contrast with the forest around it.
It was sunny, but so cold and I am glad we went with boots, not some fancy shoes becouse the mud would most defeinitely ruin them.
For me it wasn't special just becouse this place holds such magical beauty, but also because it brings so many happy memories from the start of our relationship. We were just dating and went to just watch shooting stars to this place in the summer. You wouldn't believe, how clear the sky was. Every little piece of the milky way, right there in the middle of nowhere, with mountains surrounding this little place called home.
Now if you ever find yourself in our little but wondress Slovenia, remember you will always be welcomed with open arms, but please take care of it, for it means the world to us.
