Hola amigos, espero que estén muy bien 👍🏽 vengo muy animada a presentar mi participación en la iniciativa propuesta por la comunidad jewelry 🙋🏽♀️. Como ya saben próximamente a finales del mes de octubre se celebra en algunos países las fiestas de Halloween 🎃 y también iniciado noviembre se realizan los eventos relacionados con el día de los muertos. Aunque en Venezuela no tenemos ninguna tradición festiva más que asistir al cementerio a visitar la tumba de nuestros difuntos; se ha ido asumiendo estos días como días especiales para decorar ambientes, específicamente tiendas o comercios.
Hello friends, I hope you are very well 👍🏽 I come very encouraged to present my participation in the initiative proposed by the jewelry community 🙋🏽♀️. As you know soon at the end of October is celebrated in some countries the festivities of Halloween 🎃 and also started November events related to the day of the dead. Although in Venezuela we do not have any festive tradition other than going to the cemetery to visit the grave of our deceased; these days have been assumed as special days to decorate environments, specifically stores or stores.
Reconozco ser fiel admiradora de los rituales mexicanos conmemorativos de los días de muertos. Estos rituales comienzan en septiembre, los mexicanos creyentes se dedican a la preparación de los adornos para sus altares, comidas y otros eventos presenciales propios de los lugareños. Todo muy colorido y hermoso. En vista de ello mi participación en esta iniciativa se basa más en esa fecha y quiero mostrarles cómo realicé este hermoso LLAVERO de Catrina o Calaverita en 3D. I admit to being a faithful admirer of the Mexican rituals commemorating the Day of the Dead. These rituals begin in September, the Mexican believers dedicate themselves to the preparation of decorations for their altars, meals and other events typical of the locals. All very colorful and beautiful. In view of that my participation in this initiative is based more on that date and I want to show you how I made this beautiful 3D Catrina or Calaverita KEYRING. 🎃 Materiales que utilicé para hacer la calavera 💀.
▪️ Hilos estambres escolar.
▪️ Aguja de crochet de 2,25mm.
▪️ Tijeras.
▪️ Aguja lanera.
▪️ Foami liso color negro.
▪️ Pegamento. Silicón en barra.
▪️ Ojos plásticos color negro.
▪️ Aro y cadena para llavero.
▪️ Pinzas de bisutería. Plana y punta redonda.
🎃 Materials I used to make the skull 💀.
▪️ School stamens yarn.
▪️ 2,25mm crochet needle.
▪️ Scissors.
▪️ Wool needle.
▪️ Smooth black Foami.
▪️ Glue. Silicone stick.
▪️ Black plastic eyes.
▪️ Key ring and chain.
▪️ Jewelry tweezers. Flat and round tip.
🎃 Proceso para la elaboración de la calavera 💀.
🎃 Process for making the skull 💀.
💀 Empecé tejiendo la calavera 💀 con estambre color negro. Se inicia el tejido desde un am de 12 puntos altos. Luego se tejen vueltas de aumentos. Para realizar la parte de la quijada solo tejí 1pb-1pma-2paj-2pa-1mpa-2pb-1pd. Corté el hilo y escondí la hebra.
💀 I started by knitting the skull 💀 with black worsted yarn. You start the knitting from an am of 12 high stitches. Then you knit the increase loops. To make the jaw part I only knitted 1pb-1pma-2paj-2pa-1mpa-2pb-1pd. I cut the yarn and hid the yarn.
💀 Para tejer las 💐 flores inicié desde una cadena, puede ser de 10 puntos o de 12. Luego tejí puntos V con dos cadenas de separación por toda la cadena. Finalicé tejiendo 3pa dentro de cada punto V de la vuelta anterior haciendo 1pb en medio de cada V. Después usando un punto de pegamento caliente enrollé esta cadena tejida para dar forma de florecita.
💀 To knit the 💐 flowers I started from one chain, it can be 10 stitches or 12 stitches. Then I knitted V stitches with two separating chains throughout the chain. I finished by knitting 3pa inside each V stitch from the previous round making 1pb in the middle of each V. Then using a hot glue stitch I rolled this knitted chain to give a little flower shape.
💀 Para tejer el borde de los ojos de la catrina usé el hilo anaranjado, inicié tejiendo un círculo de 5 cadenas. Dentro del círculo tejí pétalos de solo 1pa, subiendo con 2c antes y después del punto. En total tejí 6 pétalos.
💀 To knit the border of the eyes of the catrina I used the orange yarn, I started by knitting a circle of 5 chains. Inside the circle I knitted petals of only 1pa, coming up with 2c before and after the stitch. In total I knit 6 petals.
💀 Para hacer las hojas de las flores 💐 inicié tejiendo dentro de un anillo mágico. Levanté 6 cadenas, me devolví sobre las cadenas tejiendo 1pb-1pma-3pa-1pd. Siguiendo este patrón tejí 3 hojas. Cerré y escondí la hebra.
💀 To make the leaves of the flowers 💐 I started by weaving inside a magic ring. I picked up 6 chains, went back over the chains knitting 1pb-1pma-3pa-1pd. Following this pattern I knit 3 leaves. I closed and hid the strand.
🎃 Una vez tejidas todas las piezas procedí a pegarlas cada una en su lugar. Primero pegué las hojas, después las flores sobre las hojas, los ojos casi en medio de la cara y con el hilo color blanco bordé la nariz y la boca. ¡Me encanta como se ve!
🎃 Once all the pieces were knitted I proceeded to glue each one in its place. First I glued the leaves, then the flowers on the leaves, the eyes almost in the middle of the face and with the white colored thread I embroidered the nose and mouth. I love how it looks!
🎃 Para tapar los hilos y dar mayor firmeza al llavero le coloqué un trozo de foami liso en la parte de atrás. Pegué el tejido y después recorté dando la forma de la calavera.
🎃 To cover the threads and give more strength to the keychain, I placed a piece of plain foami on the back. I glued the fabric and then cut out the shape of the skull.
💀 Finalmente para dar el toque espectacular ☺️ pegué los ojos plásticos dentro del borde anaranjado tejido. Terminé mi llavero colocando la cadena y el aro ayudándome con las pinzas. ¿Cómo lo ven?
