Today, I decided to make earrings using beads and gum. But what kind of earrings did I decide to make? When I woke up this morning, I was wondering about the kind of earrings to make and present. After a while, I looked at one of the local light lamps used for seeing in the house. I use the local light lamp with kerosene and then use matches to on the light. The local light lamp gave me the idea of making a look-alike earring using beads and gum. At the beginning of choosing the beads and other materials to be used for the making of the earring, I wanted to use only 4 pieces of light purple diamond shape bead but in the end, I ended up using 8 pieces as more ideas came up.
Materials used for the making of the Lamp earring:
1.5mm fishing line.
20 pieces of gold sand bead while 10 will be used for each earring.
8 pieces of purple diamond shape bead while 4 pieces will be used for each.
4 pieces of brown bead while 2 pieces will be used for each of the earrings.
2 pieces of white straw bead while 1 piece will be used for each side of the earring.
Earring hook.
Tools used for the making of the Lamp earring:
B-6000 gum.
Bead stopper.
Cutter.
Plier.
Matches.
Procedures used in making the Light Lamp earring:
Step 1:
Here, you will have to cut 2 pieces of fishing lines from the row. After that, you will have to bend the fishing lines to get 4 lines. After you must have gotten for lines of the fishing lines, insert the bead stopper. After you must have inserted a bead stopper, draw it to reach the downside of the lines. After that, use a plier to hold the bead stopper.
Step 2:
After you must have done that, use a bead stopper to hold the 4 fishing lines, insert 1 piece of light purple diamond shape bead, and 1 piece of white straw bead.
Step 3:
After you must have inserted the white straw bead into the 4 fishing lines, apply B-6000 gum at the top of the white straw bead. After that, insert 1 piece of brown bead into 2 fishing lines out of the 4. After the insertion, allow the bead to dry for about 10 minutes.
Step 4:
After you must have inserted the brown bead and allow it for drying, the two remaining fishing lines are now by the two sides of the white straw bead. Insert 10 pieces of gold sand bead to the right side of the white straw bead. After the insertion, apply B-6000 gum by the right side of the white straw bead and then gum the fishing line carrying 10 pieces of the gold sand bead. You will do the same to the left side of the white straw bead by inserting and gumming 10 pieces of gold san beads.
Step 5:
Now you will have to insert 1 piece of light purple diamond shape bead to the right and left side of the fishing lines bearing 10 pieces of the gold sand bead. After that, use a bead stopper to hold each of the beads.
Step 6:
Now, you’ll have to insert 1 piece of brown bead into the 2 fishing lines at the top of the first brown bead inserted and gummed. After that, insert 1 piece of light purple diamond shape bead. After you must have done that, insert your earring hook into the fishing lines at the top of the light purple diamond shape bead. After that, tie and use a bead stopper to hold the earring hook.
Step 7:
Now we are done with the making of the earring, you’ll have to use matches to burn the mouth of the fishing lines closer to the bead stopper.
