The Gifts and the Smiles

Hello everyone! Hello Hivers! Glad to see you again.

In this blog, I will share to you what our school children had just received. What we did to have them, where these came from and what might be the school children's reaction. So, come on and I'll show the recent exciting event for our learners. Let's go,

Here, my utility vehicle is full-packed with supplies. Seems like a whole seller or retailer!😆...

Let me rewind for a few minutes ago so that you will have an idea of what we recently did inside the Gabaldon Building.

In a Mess

Looks like everything's in a mess here...but...it really is 😆. It's because many schools had already claimed their shares of the supplies. And, of course, it would be clean again after all schools would have claimed their shares.

The Transport

After all the supplies have been fully loaded to my utility vehicle, I was a little bit apprehensive that some supplies would fall to the road or it might be that the tires would explode...😆!

So, I deployed one helper to stay at the back and keep an eye of those things while I'm driving.

So, I carefully and slowly drove my vehicle back to school because the road is rough and the road concreting is now ongoing that makes it a little more difficult.

The School Children's Excitement

Upon seeing what I had for them, the school children couldn't wait for my helper to unload those supplies from the vehicle. They volunteered themselves happily due to their excitement. It's very evident in their faces and actions. In fact, they kept on saying "Thank you, Sir". My heart was touched deeply when I heard it from them.

But, I need to tell you where these gifts came from and what we did.

The Source

As a counterpart of the school, we submitted the names of the learners, their Tshirt sizes and other relevant data asked through the Schools Division Office.

These supplies such as sandals, tshirts, soup bowl (can be used for the Feeding Program), and school supplies are really important to our learners. But these would not be possible without the people who care for them.

They are: The Provincial Elective Officials of the Province of Cebu headed by Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia and the Provincial Board headed by Vice Gov. Hilario P. Davide III. They are the people who showed their support to our learners by giving those gifts.

Through this blog, I would like to thank you (The Provincial Government of Cebu, Philippines) on behalf of the learners, teachers and parents of Malingin Elementary School, Malingin, Bogo City, Cebu, Philippines.

That's why, everytime I hear the children say 'Thank you, sir', I just smile and say: 'Thanks to the Governor and Provincial Board for their gifts to you'.

By the way, our governor supports the school children, and for the improvement of roads and businesses, and at the same time promotes tourism of the province of Cebu to the world. But, she couldn't do it alone. So, the Provincial Board backs her for the good of the province.

The Realization
When school children feel that they are taken care of through giving gifts in any form like the supplies and even structures for them, they keep on thanking us. And our feeling is really immeasurable.

This is all for today my friends. Thank you for reaching until this part. Hoping to see you again in my next blog. Thank you very much for your support!
