Moodesk Café: Appreciating the Cozy Embrace of the Place

Hello, Hive! For this blog, I will share with you a cafe, a place I’ve been going to a lot lately.

Moodesk is a work and study cafe located in Bogo City, Cebu. Its home-like vibe is what makes it perfect for people (especially youngsters) who are fond of cafes and cozy places to hang around. It is a cafe that offers exceptional services to its customers.

This cafe is a great hideaway and hangout spot—specifically for students who want to study or just pass the time. Not only do they serve good food, but also good mood. They have free books to read and brain games to pass the time.

As a youngster who is constantly on the lookout for good cafes to visit and have a break or study, this is so far the best one I’ve been to that’s near my school. Not only for the coziness of the place but also for the Carbonara Buldak they serve. And as a fan of ramen foods, it is one of the reasons why I keep going back to the place.

One thing about this place is that they just don’t offer brain games, books, coffees, and pastries. But as well as any other snacks, meals, and a cheesy Carbonara Buldak, ramen which has been famous for its delicious look (do not be deceived for its spiciness will send you straight to the bathroom).

Buldak has been gaining a lot of fans lately and I am one of them. I just love their buldak here, the creaminess which comes with a sunny-side-up egg and longganisa. And as a fan of spicy foods, I think its spiciness is bearable. One serving is good for 2-3 persons, which costs you around 250 pesos.

For that price, I think it is more than worth it. Because not only you paid for good food, but also for the services they offer. And you could always split up with your friends and classmates (it’s really a lot).

I feel like this cafe is different because of the facilities. It focuses more on the comfiness of the place rather than an aesthetic look. I was amazed and my inner child was thrilled as I saw this table with these colorful cute chairs outside near the entrance. It was such an adorable commodity, it made the place look more lively.

The place does not have an air conditioning system which makes it more unique and comfortable. For those who dislike the smell of air-conditioned cafes or restaurants, this cafe is perfect for you. The natural lighting of the space adds more ambiance to the cafe.

During school days, the cafe is busy and full of customers (students) during lunch break and after the classes as it is near the schools in the location. Going to the place ahead of time should be recommended if you wish to have access to the table since there are not that many.

One of the brain games they offer is Scrabble. We did not have anything to do, so we played this (instead of distressing our minds, we got more stressed). The game is such a good exercise for the brain and a good way to bond with your friends and classmates. This is where you could get to learn and actually enjoy at the same time.

This refreshment is a must. It is my favorite drink—made of an energy drink topped with ice cream and a cherry on top for 79 pesos. It is such a unique combination with a great outcome. The taste is unexplainably good and it goes along with any other food they sell.

Overall, I can say that this café is outstanding among other study and work cafes in the area due to its friendly and welcoming environment as well as the range of unique services it offers. Thank you for reading my blog; till next time!
