February 14 is known to be a day of hearts. When in fact every day is hearts day in the sense that we are always giving love to the people we love, however, this day gives extra credit which highlights the giving of bouquets, chocolates, love letters, and other acts of love. In today's blog, I am going to share with you how we celebrated our hearts day with my husband.
My husband's delivery of vegetables always falls on Tuesdays and got home by dusk. Since hearts day fell on Tuesday, I am not expecting any flowers or chocolates as my husband is not that romantic like any other husband that I have seen on social media. When he arrived home, he greeted me and I replied to him. He asked "Asa man ta? mag date ta!" (Where will we go? Let's go on a date!), as I heard it, I was giggling as I didn't believe him since it was already dusk and tired from delivery.
He insisted on a date so I called my mother on the phone to come over and look after our kids, and without hesitation, my mother came.
It was already 6:50 in the evening when we left home. We just use our motorcycle since it's just the two of us.
We arrived in Bogo City in no time. We headed to Pantaland (wharf of Bogo) where we looked for a chilling area but it was already crowded so we lead to another place.
We found this Maning's Modern Filipino Kitchen incorporated with Milktea Boys (MTB). They served good food and drinks.
I couldn't find the waiter so, I make fond of taking photos around us. When going back to our table, no waiters were taking our orders. They're busy since many couples are on a date that day. We take our graceful exits as we went to another place.
This plate is designed with love and is ready but we cannot wait for so long, see you next time, hehe.
Unplanned as it was, we went to the neighborhood hotel, the Hello hotel to chill out in a rooftop cafe resto-bar.
We used the elevator in going up. When we got there, he wanted to pee, so we went downstairs to the bathroom. In going there, we'll have to pass Cheongdam Charcoal Gue, he was enticed to dine there. So he told me that we'll be going inside instead of the rooftop. And I told him, we were already done eating our dinner but he insisted so we dine in.
The waiter is male, so he's comfortable asking questions to the crew. It's his first to dine here and asked for everything from the food to this exhaust pipe😂.
We ordered two orders of pork since it's their protocol to have a minimum of two orders per table. As much as we wanted to have one order then we'll share the rest of it but it's one of the rules.
Many people were dining in. It's past 9 in the evening and we're the last person in the restaurant left.
After a sumptuous dinner, we take a look off the rooftop for him to see. This was my second time here and still amazed by the cozy ambiance of the place.
We can chill here anytime without dining in at Cheongdam however there's a 300 pesos fee and that is consumable, you can pick whatever you like as long as it limits to 300 pesos or beyond so you can pay the existing costs.
One thing that we realized when we had our date was we should have time to be as a couple or as a lover. We provide everything to our family but the connection that we have as a couple should still burning like a fire.
I think that's all for today Hivers! Hope you enjoy reading this blog and find it interesting. See you soon!
