Hola hive world, it's me again, kers. So in this blog, I want to share with you about my being a working scholar in our school. By the way, I am a first-year college student, and I'm taking the bachelor of elementary education. Please read my blog and kindly support me by voting and reblogging it. I hope you enjoy it.
So the first thing I did was apply in our school for a working scholar, and we have a 4-month contract; that's what our head of the working scholar said. He told us that we will only go to our respective area when we have vacant time.
My class will start at 8 am, and it will end at exactly 10 am. So after that, I will go to my area where I was assigned, and I will start cleaning the area. I got assigned in the principal's office.
So everyday in my vacant time I will go there and I will start by sweeping the outside floor of the office and after that I will give the plants water. Then I will put away all the trash in the trash can. I will always double check my work because I don't want them to give negative feedback about all my work. It's like my everyday routine: whenever I go to school, I will always go to my working area first because I will sweep the floor so that the principal will not get mad at me for not cleaning the area.
Even though sometimes I feel like I don't want to go there to clean because I feel tired. I just can't do it because the head of the working scholar will get mad at me. He will always go to our areas to see if we are really cleaning them or not. We have to be there so that he will see that we went to our respective areas.
I will always wash their dishes because they will not wash it. They just put it in the sink, and you know what guys, sometimes I cry because I look like a maid but not in the house. I just wiped my tears and motivated myself that it's okay. You can overcome this; you just have to work hard and study hard so you can get out of this situation.
It's very hard being a poor person because you can't afford the school tuition. That's why I have to be a working scholar so that I can study. It's very hard that you grew up and my family doesn't have enough money to pay for the tuition, but I never looked down on myself because I know that when I finish my studies it will not be that same because I will find a better job and I can have money to help my family.
