I always agree to that quote, no other professionals could have been where they are now if it wasn't for their noble teachers who selflessly work hard to provide quality education. Being a teacher has always been on of my dreams. Ever since I was younger, I've always had the love for teaching. Way back then, I used to teach Flores De Mayo classes May of each year and it has always been the best summer activity I used to do. I also loved playing teacher roles when playing with my cousins.
Fast forward until college, I took up Bachelor Of Secondary Education Major In English, I passed the Licensure Examination For Professional Teachers on my first take and after trying my luck in DEPED, I finally got my own permanent item at Tuburan National High School - Tuburan, Cebu City, Philippines. I get to teach Grade 11 and Grade 12.

The District Orientation Of Newly Hired Teachers was held last August 27,2024 at Gabaldon Building, Tuburan Central Elementary School. The orientation aims to guide us with all the teaching techniques and all the processes we will be undergoing when we will start teaching in the actual field.
To start the orientation, the Philippine National Anthem was played, followed by the Prayer, the Sugbo Hymn and then the Tuburan Hymn.
The emcee is the school head from Sandayong Elementary School.
There were a lot of great speakers who are people which are those who are an expert in the teaching field. But one of the most motivational speakers during the orientation is the Public Schools District Supervisor of Tuburan I. He focused on all the great things of being a public school teacher in the Department of Education here in the Philippines.

Among all the meaningful topics he discussed, this struck me the most,being reminded what it really is to be a teacher, how it takes to be a noble one. I have noted this in my heart and mind and will try to observe this on a daily basis, thank you so much Dr. Gulfan for the reminders.
There were also a lot of activities done and we had so much fun with our random groupmates. It is the perfect activity for us to socialize with all the other newly-hired teachers. I got to represent our group as I explained our answers.
The last time I did this was during college, during class reporting and practice teaching. I really love to speak in front of the crowd and it is my way of showing what I feel and expressing what I have in mind.
After the orientation, we were given certificates as proof that we participated in the activity.
It was such a fun and knowledge-filled orientation and I could really say, we are more than ready for the real world of teaching.
