Booming in success brought by so many advancements and newly developed roads, Cebu City and Lapu-lapu City has definitely a lot to offer when it terms to advancing the roads for the public’s convenience.
One of the roads newly developed is the Pilipog-Gabi coastal road which leads to CCLEX. (Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway).
We are residing just a few miles from the Pilipog-Gabi Coastal Road which means this seems to be one of our daily views.
This is the entrance heading towards the Pilipog-Gabi Coastal Road and as you can see there is a direction which way it is heading, Cordova Proper, Cordova Roro Port Road or SRP/CCLEX.
The Pilipog-Gabi Coastal Road is buzzing with business and a lot of people especially during afternoon. In the first photo I attached above, you will see that there is a truck selling fish.
In the side walk, there are stalls selling mango with shrimp paste, coconut juice, Filipino snacks such as tempura and siomai.
We went out went the sun set and it is definitely no regret being able to see such beauty.
Being able to watch sunsets while being here in the city always gives me a feeling of ease, it gives me a kind of happiness I could not explain. Seeing the sunset and the sunrise is really a view to see.
As we rode by our motorcycle, we passed by a lot of people and this is a family playing badminton in the sidewalks of Pilipog-Gabi Coastal Road.
Since the sun is already setting, it is no longer hot in the area and you will indeed enjoy playing badminton here since there is a massive side walk where you can sit around and enjoy with family and friends.
If we are gonna go straight, this Pilipog-Gabi Coastal Road will lead us to the third bridge or the CCLEX (Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway) a faster option to reach Cebu City. Turning left will lead us to Cordova and turning right will lead us to Babag, Lapu-lapu City.
I really love to go on road trips during this time of day. It is very windy, and the golden hour just keeps the entire mood relaxing and it helps me unwind.
As we went through the road, we passed by so many people jogging and hiking. This is a good avenue for exercise indeed.
When you live in the hustling and bustling city, it may be hard for you to find a good spot for jogging and hiking which is a massive space and which is also safe.
The Pilipog-Gabi Coastal Road is perfect for you if you are into jogging and hiking, because not only are the roads massive enough, you will not feel bored because there are a lot of other people jogging ang hiking around.
Also, the place is safe because in the corner of the road there is police visibility, therefore people will really feel extra safe while being in the area.
We also passed by a lot of bikers. I also love to go biking since that is what I do most summer when I was still younger. Riding a bicycle is really fun, you get to travel to various places, but also it is a good way to exercise.
No matter what you want to do here, whatever suits you, if you want to play badminton, go jogging, hiking, ride a bicycle, you can freely do that just do it with extra caution.
More and more bikers! The place is indeed a perfect spot for all cyclists. There is a huge road for you to bike on and when you get tired, there is a huge side walk for you to sit around and relax.
There is also this truck selling fresh coconut juice for ₱35.00. Which is a perfect drink for the thirsty joggers, hikers and cyclists. There is nothing better than a fresh coconut juice rather than drinking unhealthy sodas.
