Aside from the way of the cross, Visita Iglesia is also one of my holy week devotions I made last Maunday Thursday. I made all my holy week activities on Thursday because I have a lot of things to do for the coming Matatag Training. So after lunch with my sister, we started our Visita Iglesia. Went first to Maya, Daanbantayan, and Cebu.The San Isidro Labrador Parish Church.The town of Daanbantayan Maya is more or less 10km away. We went inside and prayed and took some pictures for souvenirs.
The 2nd church we visited is the church of San Miguel of Barangay Tapilon, Daanbantayan
Then the 3rd church was the Santa Rosa De Lima of Poblacion, Daanbantayan. Santa Rosa de Lima is one of the oldest churches in the province. It was built a long time ago and made of bricks and stone so that it can withstand even a strong typhoon.
Before we proceeded to the 4th church, we dropped by Alberto's Pizza since we were all hungry. So, we took a snack first before we continued our journey. We ordered Hawaiian Pizza and Yummy Hotdog since it was the favorite of my youngest daughter.
After having our snacks we continued but we went first to the grave of my brother-in-law's mother at the Bitoon Cemetery. again and went to Kawit Church, the Saint Ignatius de Loyola Church. When we were there the the apostles were all ready for the mass. Despite that, we went inside and continued our prayers.
The fifth church we visited was the Santo Niño church of Medellin. The mass has already started upon our arrival. We went inside near the door and prayed our intentions and thanksgiving.
Then the sixth church was in Odlot. That was the first time my brother-in-law had his visit so we almost lost our way. Hehehe. When we arrived the mas was served so we went to the prayer room and bought one candle colored green which symbolizes good health. I prayed for the complete healing of my husband of all his sickness. We lighted the candle and prayed that all of our wishes, and petitions may granted.
The final church we visited was the San Vicente church of Bogo. The sun already set when we arrived in Bogo and we arrived home already past 7: 00 in the evening. We had a long journey but we were happy that we fulfilled our panata or devotion for this holy week.
