Hoy es un día para celebrar, pues el plantel educativo dónde estudia mi pequeño está de aniversario, brindando por años atención y educación a más de 2 mil estudiantes de forma gratuita.
La escuela y el hogar son parte esencial en el crecimiento y formación académica de nuestros hijos; todos hemos pasado por ahí en algún momento y tenemos recuerdos estupendos de nuestra infancia y de nuestros maestros.

Today is a day to celebrate, because the school where my little boy studies is celebrating its anniversary, providing care and education for years to more than 2 thousand students for free.
School and home are an essential part in the growth and academic formation of our children; we have all been there at some point and have wonderful memories of our childhood and our teachers.
Y esa interacción del maestro, la escuela y la familia nos ha permitido formar a hombres y mujeres de bien, porque si bien es cierto que la casa es la primera escuela, es muy importante que como padres enseñemos a nuestros hijos a cuidar y querer su escuela, como su segundo hogar.
Entendiendo que su escuela es el lugar dónde también aprenden, donde interactuan y conocen a otros niños de su misma edad y dónde se forman como futuros profesionales.
Hace unos años veía la interacción hacía la escuela de mi parte, como algo sumamente necesario; me limitaba a dar las colaboraciones, a estar presente cómo se exigía en fechas importantes, y a cumplir con todas las exigencias, pero cuando me hablaban de reunión de padres y representantes, era algo que no me llamaba la atención hasta ahora.

A few years ago I saw the interaction with the school on my part, as something extremely necessary; I limited myself to give the collaborations, to be present as required on important dates, and to comply with all the requirements, but when they talked to me about parents and representatives meeting, it was something that did not call my attention until now.
Y esto porque entendí que la vida son etapas y esta es la finalización de mi etapa como madre de un niño de escuela, por lo que aprendí a ver esto como algo diferente y desde allí me integré más y más, al punto de que ahora soy vocera de su salón.
Parece contradictorio de algún modo, pero aprendí que nuestros hijos crecen de forma veloz y yo no me quiero perder ninguna de estas etapas; soy una profesional y mamá a tiempo completo y luego de tener tantos años en la administración pública sé que ningún trabajo es tan importante como estar presente para nuestros hijos.
Me disfruto este proceso de ser una madre responsable, de las que llevan a sus hijos a la escuela, que revisa cuadernos, que habla con la maestra y quien apoya y le da seguimiento a las necesidades y compromisos de sus hijos, y eso es algo que me hace muy feliz.
And this because I understood that life is in stages and this is the end of my stage as a mother of a school child, so I learned to see this as something different and from there I became more and more integrated, to the point that now I am a spokesperson for his classroom.
It seems contradictory in a way, but I learned that our children grow up fast and I don't want to miss any of these stages; I am a professional and full time mom and after having so many years in public administration I know that no job is as important as being present for our children.
I enjoy this process of being a responsible mother, one who takes her children to school, who checks notebooks, who talks to the teacher and who supports and follows up on her children's needs and commitments, and that is something that makes me very happy.
Porque sé que estoy haciendo un buen trabajo junto a su papá y tengo la bendición de tener hijos sanos, inteligentes, responsables y enfocados en sus estudios y eso me llena de orgullo, sobre todo cuando ponen a mis hijos como referencia de cosas buenas.
Mi pequeño Diego disfrutó en su escuela de castillos inflables y varias actividades recreativas que estuvieron muy acordes para la fecha. En el salón de mis hijos se prepararon unas tortas y cada salón hizo su compartir, homenageando y reconociendo la importancia y el valor que tiene y ha tenido esta increíble escuela, dónde entras siendo unos niñitos y salen ya directo a la universidad.
Mi hijo disfrutó de su actividad y yo me deleité escuchando todas las historias que Diego siempre tiene por contarme cada vez que lo retiro de la escuela. Amo cuando me dice que su día estuvo estupendo.
Because I know that I am doing a good job together with his dad and I am blessed to have healthy, intelligent, responsible and focused on their studies children and that fills me with pride, especially when they put my children as a reference of good things.
My little Diego enjoyed bouncy castles and various recreational activities at his school, which were very appropriate for the date. In my children's classroom, cakes were prepared and each classroom shared, honoring and recognizing the importance and value that this incredible school has and has had, where you enter as a child and go straight to college.
My son enjoyed his activity and I enjoyed listening to all the stories that Diego always has to tell me every time I take him out of school. I love it when he tells me that his day was great.
Recuerdo que siempre atesoramos en nuestra mente y que es importante vivir, como fortaleza y apoyo para nuestros hijos, porque nuestra conducta y acciones siempre influirán en su carácter. Felicito a todos esos papitos y mamitas que se toman el tiempo para ser de gran ayuda y apoyo para sus niños. Por muchos aniversarios más.
