Hace unos días, mi mamá me dijo que estaban dando juguetes con motivo de Halloween en McDonald's, así que sin pensarlo dos veces decidí ir a ver si era verdad y en efecto sí fue. Mi intención desde un inicio fue clara, darme un gusto con una Cajita Feliz y obtener mi juguete halloweenesco, pero lo que encontré superó mis expectativas, estaban dando era una cesta como para pedir dulces, lo que para mí, resulto mejor que un juguete.
Al hacer el pedido de mi cajita, pude escoger cuál cesta recibir y de hecho, la cajita no era la habitual, sino la misma cesta y en mi caso morada con diseño de vampiro, me pareció muy linda y perfecta para esta época del año, además, incluía stickers de vampiros, que obviamente ya estoy pensando en pegar en mi cuaderno de scrapbook. Definitivamente, soy una niña aún, creo que el que esten dando juguetes con temática de Halloween me hizo más feliz a mí que a los propios niños. 🤣
Después de disfrutar de mi comida, no podía irme sin comerme también un heladito, para mi sorpresa, el helado también seguía la temática de la temporada, tenía decoraciones inspiradas en Halloween, con toques de barquilla oscura que simulaban (¿tal vez?) telarañas. Este tipo de detalles me animan bastante, porque no solo convierten una salida común en algo diferente, sino que también me hacen sentir que estoy disfrutando al máximo esta época que tanto me gusta (como buena amante del terror).
Entre la comida, los stickers, y el ambiente que McDonald’s había preparado para Halloween, pasé un rato muy agradable. ¿Y ustedes? ¿También se dejan llevar por la emoción de las ediciones especiales? 🎃🍔

A few days ago, my mom told me that McDonald's was giving out toys for Halloween, so without thinking twice I decided to go and see if it was true and indeed it was. My intention from the beginning was clear, to treat myself with a Happy Meal and get my Halloween toy, but what I found exceeded my expectations, they were giving out a basket like a trick-or-treat basket, which for me, was better than a toy.
When I ordered my Happy Meal, I could choose which basket to receive and in fact, the box was not the usual one, but the same basket and in my case purple with vampire design, I thought it was very cute and perfect for this time of the year, also, it included vampire stickers, which obviously I'm already thinking of sticking in my scrapbook notebook. I'm definitely a kid still, I think them giving out Halloween themed toys made me happier than the kids themselves. 🤣
After enjoying my meal, I couldn't leave without also having an ice cream, to my surprise, the ice cream also followed the seasonal theme, it had Halloween inspired decorations, with touches of dark wafers that simulated (maybe?) spider webs. This kind of details cheer me up a lot, because not only do they turn a common outing into something different, but they also make me feel like I'm enjoying to the fullest this season that I love so much (as a good horror lover).
Between the food, the stickers and the atmosphere McDonald's had prepared for Halloween, I had a really nice time. How about you guys, do you also get caught up in the excitement of the special editions? 🎃🍔
