Greetings dear readers, today I give life and love to my blog with a very personal story related to that stage of life where looking beyond the rainbow invites us not to lose hope to fulfill our dreams with the possibility of enlivening others.
Emprender con mi nueva profesión no ha sido fácil, hace dos años que recibí mi licencia y desde entonces empecé a sondear distinto espacio, explicando y ofreciendo en un comunicado impreso mi propuesta para mis clases de Biodanza, pero irónicamente todo quedo en: vamos evaluar tu propuesta, por ser un espacio X no se puedes cobrar, si das las clases gratis más adelante te podemos incluir en nómina… respuestas que fueron poco convincentes a las que hice caso omiso y por las que no me desmotivé.
Undertaking my new profession has not been easy, two years ago I received my license and since then I began to sound different space, explaining and offering in a printed statement my proposal for my Biodanza classes, but ironically everything was left in: we will evaluate your proposal, for being a space X you can not charge, if you give free classes later we can include you in payroll... answers that were unconvincing to which I ignored and for which I was not demotivated.
Queriendo darle impulso a mi proyecto, este año decidí empezar en mi centro de trabajo, previamente el personal de la institución ya había experimentado lo que era una sesión de biodanza bajo mi faclitación. Todos se mostraron con apertura y sensibilizados, animandome a darle continuidad a estas clases, con probalidades de integrar a otros.
Wanting to give impetus to my project, this year I decided to start in my workplace, previously the staff of the institution had already experienced what was a biodance session under my faclitation. Everyone was open and sensitized, encouraging me to give continuity to these classes, with the possibility of integrating others.
Solo faltaba conversar con el movimiento bolivariano de familia (concejo de padres y representantes) con quienes no hubo inconveniente en cuanto a espacio ni horario, incluso me permitieron recibir un aporte económico solidario por parte de los participantes, aspecto de los que muy poco hicieron su aporte, aún así el grupo fue mermando.
I only needed to talk with the Bolivarian family movement (parents and representatives council) with whom there was no inconvenience in terms of space or schedule, they even allowed me to receive a solidarity economic contribution from the participants, an aspect of which very few made their contribution, even so the group was shrinking.
Mi entusiasmo siempre estuvo presente con el diseño e invitaciones constantes para las clases, pero poco a poco en la medida que íbamos profundizando con las vivencias el personal empezó a decaer. Evaluando tal situación hice abordajes puntuales para conocer el motivo de la baja de asistencia.
My enthusiasm was always present with the design and constant invitations for the classes, but little by little, as we went deeper into the experiences, the staff began to decline. Evaluating this situation, I made specific approaches to find out the reason for the drop in attendance
En privado algunas entre sollozos y vergüenza me manifestaron incomodidad y desavenencias entre colegas con quienes en su cotidianidad laboral han tenido rencillas, rivalidades, juicios y descalificaciones, consideraciones que van en contra de lo que se promueve en Biodanza, donde la integración humana y afectiva es una de las nociones para llevar a cabo nuestras clases.
In private, some of them, between sobs and shame, expressed to me discomfort and disagreements between colleagues with whom in their daily work have had quarrels, rivalries, judgments and disqualifications, considerations that go against what is promoted in Biodanza, where human and affective integration is one of the notions to carry out our classes.
Otras manifestaron prioridad de actividades personales y laborales justo a la hora de la clase los días viernes de 3 a 5pm, tiempo que previamente fue acordado por todos, asumiendo nuestra responsabilidad y compromiso con nosotros mismos.
Others expressed priority of personal and work activities just at the time of the class on Fridays from 3 to 5pm, time that was previously agreed upon by all, assuming our responsibility and commitment to ourselves.
Estos aspectos integrados a los contratiempos climáticos y uso improvisado del espacio para eventualidades ministeriales y comunales justo en las clases de Biodanza, conllevaron a que las sesiones se lograran con vacilaciones de asistencias, intermitencias y retrasos, con un record de 8 sesiones durante 6 meses y un reducido número de 4 participantes, quienes también empezaron a manifestar prioridades.
These aspects integrated to the climatic setbacks and the improvised use of the space for ministerial and communal eventualities just in the Biodanza classes, led to the fact that the sessions were achieved with attendance hesitations, intermittencies and delays, with a record of 8 sessions during 6 months and a reduced number of 4 participants, who also began to manifest priorities.
Por tal situación, decidí cerrar estas clases en ese lugar, donde ya no se estaba percibiendo lo que nos reseña Rolando Toro Araneda el creador del sistema Biodanza respecto al grupo, el cual con su energía va generando lo que determinará luego una identidad saludable , y para que eso suceda es importante, el amor, entrega, coraje, compromiso y tiempo.
For such a situation, I decided to close these classes in that place, where we were no longer perceiving what we review Rolando Toro Araneda the creator of the Biodanza system regarding the group, which with its energy will generate what will then determine a healthy identity, and for that to happen is important, the love, dedication, courage, commitment and time.

Por tal motivo hice mí debida autoevaluación en cuanto a la metodología aplicada y mi propia energía con respecto al grupo, percibiendo que por mucho que yo deseaba llevar el mensaje, no todos están dispuestos a recibirlo, también me hizo eco el refrán “muchos son los llamados y pocos los elegidos”, alterando un poco esta frase, yo diria: muchos son los llamados y pocos los decididos a levantar la mano y tomar del árbol lo que esta para él”
For this reason I did my due self-evaluation regarding the methodology applied and my own energy with respect to the group, perceiving that as much as I wanted to bring the message, not everyone is willing to receive it, I also echoed the saying "many are called and few are chosen ‘, altering this phrase a little, I would say: many are called and few are determined to raise their hand and take from the tree what is for him ’,
A pesar de todo, pienso que las clases tuvieron un efecto poderoso, donde la afectividad que es la columna vertebral de la Biodanza se estaba despertando en los participantes, con lo que percibí, que todas las razones dadas eran corazas y resistencia a sentir y mirar lo que realmente somos.
In spite of everything, I think that the classes had a powerful effect, where the affectivity that is the backbone of Biodanza was awakening in the participants, with what I perceived, that all the reasons given were armors and resistance to feel and look at what we really are.

Una vez cerrado este ciclo sin dolor ni culpas, sorpresivamente recibí una notificación en mi whatssapp donde me invitaban a dar mis clases de Biodanza en uno de esos tantos lugares donde toqué puertas sin ninguna expectativa, primeramente, porque queda muy lejos de mi casa, yo vivió en la ciudad de Caracas hacia el oeste y el sitio me queda hacia el este estado Miranda.
Once closed this cycle without pain or guilt, I surprisingly received a notification in my whatsapp where I was invited to give my Biodanza classes in one of those many places where I knocked doors without any expectation, firstly, because it is very far from my home, I live in the city of Caracas to the west and the site is to the east Miranda state.
Por no dejar pasar la suerte, fui y conversé con la coordinadora del espacio, resultando una entrevista amena y fluida, donde me brindaron todas las posibilidades de iniciar mis clases allí ¡Yo no lo podía creer!

Todavía con incredulidad dije sí, y sola me embarque en esta aventura a ver qué pasaba, de lo que afortunadamente llevo 4 consecuentes clases con un grupo que oscila entre 8 a 6 hermosas mujeres que llegaron al lugar por iniciativa propio y curiosidad, tras la publicidad que realizó el mismo Centro Cultural y de Formación Casa Futuro – Miranda, siendo ellos los propios promotores de las actividades de: dibujo, música y yoga que se llevan a cabo en el lugar, pasando a ser Biodanza una de ellas.
Still in disbelief I said yes, and alone I embarked on this adventure to see what happened, of which fortunately I have 4 consecutive classes with a group that ranges between 8 to 6 beautiful women who came to the place on their own initiative and curiosity, after the publicity made by the same Cultural and Training Center Casa Futuro - Miranda, being themselves the promoters of the activities of: drawing, music and yoga that are carried out in the place, becoming Biodanza one of them.
Han sido 4 clases maravillosas con una bonita receptividad por parte del personal laboral de la casa, los cuales tiene una organización impecable, he sido muy bien recibida, me han prestado la colaboración en todo los requerimientos para que la sesión de biodanza se de en un espacio acogedor, habilitándome corneta, salón, baño, privacidad, limpieza, incluyendo fascinantemente café y té, y lo más sorprendente para mí, ha sido que me dan la posibilidad de solicitar a los participantes un módico aporte por las sesiones sin yo pagar nada en el espacio.
They have been 4 wonderful classes with a beautiful receptivity on the part of the working staff of the house, which has an impeccable organization, I have been very well received, they have given me the collaboration in all the requirements for the biodanza session to take place in a cozy space, enabling me bugle, lounge, bathroom, privacy, cleanliness, including fascinating coffee and tea, and the most surprising thing for me, has been that they give me the possibility to ask the participants a small contribution for the sessions without me paying anything in the space.
Aún hoy no salgo de mi asombro por este regalo de la vida que agradezco infinitamente. Esta experiencia me ha servido para darle más revisión y enfoque a lo que venía realizando, impulsándome a abrir mis alas como Facilitadora de Biodanza, sumando así más experiencia y coraje para poder luego proyectarme hacia otros espacios y comunidades que deseen conmigo abrazar este sistema, cuyo norte es la integración de la identidad del ser humano, a partir de una metodología vivencial que despierta la conciencia afectiva y ecológica, y que inevitablemente nos impulsa a la comunión amorosa con todo lo que existe.
Even today I am still amazed by this gift of life that I am infinitely grateful for. This experience has helped me to give more review and focus to what I was doing, pushing me to open my wings as a Biodanza Facilitator, thus adding more experience and courage to be able to then project myself to other spaces and communities that wish to embrace this system, whose north is the integration of the identity of the human being, from an experiential methodology that awakens the affective and ecological awareness, and that inevitably drives us to the loving communion with all that exists
