Saludos apreciados lectores hoy doy vida y amor a mi blog con otra anécdota musical de la que me siento muy feliz y orgullosa, donde fue posible sentir el trabajo mancomunado que dio frutos a través de la poesía dedicada a un colectivo de la sociedad que cada día se empodera más de lo que es ser “Mujer”.
Greetings dear readers, today I give life and love to my blog with another musical anecdote of which I feel very happy and proud, where it was possible to feel the joint work that bore fruit through poetry dedicated to a group of society that every day is empowered more of what it is to be "Woman".
El mundo de la música siempre ha sido para mí un ambiente maravilloso del que he formado parte de manera empírica y fortuita. Desde niña siempre busque estar integrada a espacios donde hubiera arte en general, sintiendo con la música una conexión muy especial, principalmente con las expresiones tradicionales de mi país y también con géneros de otras latitudes que despertaban mi sensibilidad para cantar.
The world of music has always been for me a wonderful environment that I have been part of in an empirical and fortuitous way. Since I was a child I always sought to be integrated into spaces where there was art in general, feeling a very special connection with music, mainly with the traditional expressions of my country and also with genres from other latitudes that awakened my sensitivity to sing.
En el camino tome clases de canto, cuatro, pero me aburrían las nomenclaturas, estructuras de los pentagramas, y formalidades de las corales, por eso que me aleje y decidí cantar a mis anchas según lo que sintiera y cuando quisiera. Así me he encontrado entre muchas personas que vibran igual que yo.
Along the way I took singing lessons, four, but I was bored with the nomenclatures, structures of the staves, and formalities of the choirs, so I moved away and decided to sing at my leisure according to what I felt and when I wanted. That is how I have found myself among many people who vibrate like me.
Es por eso que desde hace 7 años formo parte de una agrupación de mujeres tambores cuya virtud ha sido, ser mujeres desenvueltas con nuestras profesiones en la urbe caraqueña venezolana, tomando al tambor como una perfecta excusa para escaparnos de la cotidianidad y decir en él con nuestras manos quienes somos.
That is why for 7 years I have been part of a group of women drummers whose virtue has been to be women involved in our professions in the Venezuelan city of Caracas, taking the drum as a perfect excuse to escape from everyday life and say in it with our hands who we are.
De esta forma a cada uno progresivamente se les ha despertado su musa, creando poesías y melodías que resuenan con nuestras vidas, cada una con sus historias a cuestas que se manifiestan en los repetidos encuentros que tenemos. Fue de este modo como una de nuestras compañeras poeta, madre y museóloga, nos regaló un hermoso escrito titulado “Todas somos una”, poesía que, al ser escuchada por nuestro maestro de percusión, de inmediato solicitó ponerle música.
In this way, each one has progressively awakened their muse, creating poetry and melodies that resonate with our lives, each one with their own stories that manifest themselves in the repeated encounters we have. It was in this way that one of our fellow poet, mother and museologist, gave us a beautiful piece of writing entitled "We are all one", a poem that, when heard by our percussion teacher, he immediately asked to put it to music.

Ella encantada aceptó y desde entonces empezó el trabajo, partiendo de su deseo, que cada una de @herenciamujertambor aportara un sonido y expresión al tema. De esta manera poco a poco a través de los ensayos casi durante año y medio, se fueron integrando múltiples matices e ideas, donde una a una iba poniendo su huella de amor.
She gladly accepted and since then began the work, starting from her desire, that each of @herenciamujertambor bring a sound and expression to the theme. In this way, little by little through rehearsals for almost a year and a half, multiple nuances and ideas were integrated, where one by one she was putting her little grain of love.
Así nos hemos ido presentando en distinto eventos sociales, culturales y políticos, con temas afro-venezolanos, siendo “Todas somos una” parte del repertorio. Afortunadamente en uno de estos eventos fuimos escuchadas por alguien que resonó con este trabajo, solicitando este tema fuera grabado, y así poder proyectarlo hacia otras latitudes.
Thus we have been presenting ourselves in different social, cultural and political events, with Afro-Venezuelan themes, being "Todas somos una" part of the repertoire, fortunately in one of these events we were heard by someone who resonated with this work, requesting this theme to be recorded, and thus to be able to project it to other latitudes.
Ya planteada toda la situación de derecho de autor y posiciones legales, nuestro primer “Demo” nació en estos días del mes de junio 2024, con lo que puedo decir fue una experiencia gratificante y de mucho aprendizaje, siendo todo un día de muchas emociones, mirando y sintiendo lo que salía bien, lo que no, o por lo que se tenía que repetir una y otra vez. Dentro del tiempo de trabajo teníamos algunos break que nos permitían respirar y reflexionar sobre tal faena y también conocer el lugar, compartir jocosidades tertulias y aperitivos.
Already raised the whole situation of copyright and legal positions, our first "Demo" was born in these days of June 2024, with what I can say was a rewarding experience and a lot of learning, being a whole day of many emotions, watching and feeling what went well, what did not, or what had to be repeated again and again. Within the work time we had some breaks that allowed us to breathe and reflect on such a task and also to share jokes and gatherings.
Fue una muy grata experiencia donde participe cantando el intro con un formato el genero blue,y junto a dos compañera ejecutamos la percúsión menor, más clarín y coros. Después de la faena quedamos todas y todos exhaustos pero satisfechos y con el corazón lleno de gratitud por lo obtenido, desde mi sentir lo percibo como una experiencia que agradezco a la vida por hacerme parte de este colectivo que entre sus variopintas esencias humanas incluyendo la de nuestro maestro, fue posible co-crear música orgánica dirigida a toda mujer que resuene con lo que tanto nos dice “Todas somos una”.
It was a very pleasant experience, leaving all of us exhausted but satisfied and with a heart full of gratitude for what we obtained. From my point of view, I perceive it as an experience that I thank life for making me part of this collective that among its various human essences, including that of our master, it was possible to co-create organic music directed to all women that resonates with what "We are all one" tells us so much.
