La semana se pasó muy rápido para mí. A pesar de tener planificado un montón de ilustraciones para esta semana, apenas pude avanzar con unas cuantas.
Esta semana no pude tenerles lista una nueva página de “Ángel Guardián”. Espero terminarla este fin de semana para compartirla a inicios de la semana que viene.
Voy avanzando también con la historia de Ylia y Pete en cuanto al argumento así que empezaré las primeras páginas pronto. Ya en uno de los grupos donde comparto las ilustraciones de ellos están a la expectativa de la historia y no sé por qué me pone algo nerviosa. ¡Es que los inicios de un manga siempre son tan difíciles! No tanto por lo complicado sino porque uno mismo se pone un montón de presión encima esperando hacerlo perfecto. Creo que es algo que nos ocurre a todos los que hacemos manga o escribimos historias.
Mientras, les compartiré un dibujo de Gersiel y algo sobre él.
Muchos compañeros en el Cielo le admiran y lo ven como una especie de héroe por todo el buen desempeño que tuvo como guerrero antes de ser nombrado maestro de los nuevos ángeles guardianes.
A muchos de ellos se les olvida que Gersiel no es un ángel puro, sino que fue un humano al que, por sus acciones, se le permitió ingresar como un ángel guardián. Lo que ha logrado Gersiel ha sido en base a su duro esfuerzo por alcanzar el nivel de sus compañeros y aprendiendo a sobrepasar su lado humano para convertirse en un auténtico ángel.
Esto ha hecho que Gersiel, de una manera consciente o inconsciente, vaya dejando de lado sus emociones humanas y se enfoque más en el cumplimiento del deber.
Esto, le hace ver como alguien que no se desviaría de las instrucciones que reciba o del deber. Sin embargo, Gersiel tiene su lado vulnerable, el cual trata con todas sus fuerzas de mantener a raya, pero las circunstancias le harán enfrentarse a alguno de sus temores y debilidades para que no es el héroe inamovible que todos piensan que es, sino que tener emociones y sentimientos también le hacen ser fuerte en el momento que debe enfrentarlos.
Así que quise dibujar a Gersiel en un momento de vulnerabilidad. Llorar es sólo señal de que alguien ha sido fuerte durante mucho tiempo, tal vez más de lo que la gente a su alrededor podría creer.

The week went by very quickly for me. Despite having a lot of illustrations planned for this week, I was barely able to get a few done.
This week I couldn't get a new page of “Angel Guardian” ready. I hope to finish it this weekend to share it at the beginning of next week.
I'm also making progress with Ylia and Pete's story in terms of the plot so I'll start the first pages soon. In one of the groups where I share their illustrations, they're already looking forward to the story and I don't know why it makes me a little nervous. It's just that the beginnings of a manga are always so difficult! Not so much because it's complicated but because one puts a lot of pressure on oneself hoping to do it perfectly. I think that's something that happens to all of us who do manga or write stories.
Meanwhile, I'll share a drawing of Gersiel and something about him.
Many of his colleagues in Heaven admire him and see him as a kind of hero for all the good performance he had as a warrior before being named master of the new guardian angels.
Many of them forget that Gersiel is not a pure angel, but rather a human who, due to his actions, was allowed to enter as a guardian angel. What Gersiel has achieved has been based on his hard work to reach the level of his peers and learning to surpass his human side to become a true angel.
This has made Gersiel, consciously or unconsciously, put aside his human emotions and focus more on the fulfillment of duty.
This makes him look like someone who would not deviate from the instructions he receives or from duty. However, Gersiel has his vulnerable side, which he tries with all his might to keep at bay, but circumstances will make him face some of his fears and weaknesses so that he is not the immovable hero that everyone thinks he is, but having emotions and feelings also make him strong in the moment he must face them.
So I wanted to draw Gersiel in a moment of vulnerability. Crying is just a sign that someone has been strong for a long time, maybe longer than people around them might believe.
