TBT / Birth of my daughter. Learning to be a dad [ENG]/[ESP]

Today I would like to remember that moment in my life that made me so happy. I am referring to the day my daughter was born on October 15, 2001, next month she will be 23 years old.
I remember very well that on that day I had accompanied my wife to the doctor and after the exams he sent us directly to the clinic for the cesarean section, because the baby had very little fluid and had to be taken out urgently.
That night at the clinic I accompanied my wife because she was in bed and I had to watch over the baby. When she cried I ran to the nurses' station to have her checked and the nurse told me that she was crying because she was wet and uncomfortable. That was my first lesson as a dad.
The next day we had the baby at home and I, as a first time father, was afraid to hold her because she was so small and fragile and I felt like I was going to drop her.
But as the days went by I fed her with a bottle, changed her diapers and even bathed her.
Being a father is a wonderful experience that you don't learn in any school but when you have a child and you start to exercise your profession as a father.
For me it was a unique experience in life to be the guide of such a small being that requires important care and when they grow up, the responsibility also grows because you have to teach them values that will help them to differentiate good from bad and to relate to other people.
In short, being a parent is a great responsibility and to be a good parent, you first have to be a good child, because being parents we understand the real reasons that our parents had to apply the discipline that we disliked so much.

Reciban un gran saludo integrantes de la comunidad @throwbackthursday, donde retrocedemos en el tiempo para revivir aquellos grandes momentos que nos llenan de felicidad.
Hoy quisiera rememorar aquel momento de mi vida que me hizo tan feliz. Me refiero al día en que nació mi hija un 15 de octubre de 2001, el próximo mes cumplirá 23 años.
Recuerdo muy bien que ese día había acompañado a mi esposa al médico y éste al hacerle los exámenes nos mandó directamente a la clínica para la cesárea, porque ya la niña tenía muy poco líquido y había que sacarla de urgencia.
Esa noche en la clínica yo acompañé a mi esposa porque ella estaba en cama y me tocó estar pendiente de la niña. Cuando lloraba salia corriendo al puesto de enfermeras para que la revisaran y la enfermera me dijo que lloraba porque estaba mojada e incómoda. Esa fue mi primera lección como papá.
Al día siguiente ya teníamos a la niña en casa y yo, como padre primerizo, tenía miedo de cargarla porque ella era muy pequeña y frágil y me parecía que la iba a dejar caer.
Pero ya al pasar los días yo la alimentaba con tetero, le cambiaba los pañales y hasta la bañaba.
Ser padre es una experiencia maravillosa que no se aprende en ninguna escuela sino cuando se tiene un hijo y comienzas a ejercer tu profesión de papá.
Para mi fue una experiencia única en la vida ser el guía de un ser tan pequeño que requiere de cuidados importantes y ya cuando crecen, también crece la responsabilidad pues tienes que enseñarle valores que la van a ayudar a diferenciar lo bueno de lo malo y a relacionarse con otras personas.
En definitiva, ser padre es una gran responsabilidad y para ser buen padre, tienes primero que ser buen hijo, pues siendo padres entendemos las verdaderas razones que tuvieron los nuestros para aplicarnos la disciplina que tanto nos disgustaba.
