Ce fort a été construit par un notable de l'époque et a été équipé de sept canons. Longtemps laissé en ruine, il a été rénové l'année dernière. |
The fort of "Djeu". The island of "Djeu", whose word "Djeu" means nothing but "Ilot" (!) served for some time as a surveillance point against a well-established piracy around the island of Boa Vista and its main town, Sal Rei. This fort was built by a notable of the time and was equipped with seven canons. Long left in ruins, it was renovated last year. |
