Chicken Korma: A Tasty Chicken Curry

We hadn't had chicken for quite some while, and I was craving some. So I thought to order some raw chicken from Swiggy. I actually didn't think at first that we can even order raw foods from Swiggy, but later I found that we can. And so they reached with our raw chicken, and we didn't have to go ourselves and buy it. So we saved quite a lot of time. Next we washed the chicken and started the process.

First we had to marinate the chicken for at least a hour. For the marinade we added: Curd, Ginger garlic paste, Turmeric, Chilli powder and salt to taste.

In the meanwhile, Fry some onions in the mixture of oil and Desi Ghee (Clarified butter), We can use only normal oil but the Ghee adds more flavor to the onions and the chicken.

Then stir fry the chicken in the remaining oil/ghee Mixture for around 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is half cooked.

Add a bay leaf, red chili, cardamom and elaichi to oil and heat it up, add the chicken and some garam masala after stir fry is finished.
