My adventure in the universe of Dark Souls 1/// Part 1

Hello video game lovers, today I started my adventure in Dark Souls 1, the classic. I was warned about how challenging and exciting the game is, so let's give it a try and I wanted to document this experience and share it with you.

The first thing I did was create my character. At first, I wanted to choose the knight because of the armor and stats, but in the end, I went with the pyromancer. I loved the fact that I could use fire magic, and the appearance and stats aren't bad at all. As a gift, I kept the master key, which I hope will be very useful and I won't have to regret not choosing something else. I finished configuring my character's appearance and named him my hive username "magicalex" now to start the adventure.

The game's intro, super strong and epic, reaffirmed to me that this would be a unique experience.

The adventure begins.

I want to thank the knight who threw me the key so I could escape from the filthy cell where I was imprisoned.

Upon leaving, I find myself in the undead borough. I'm surprised that the first enemies I encounter are so harmless, being a kind of zombies just like me. I've already been warned that everything is violent and aggressive, and that death lurks around every corner.

After defeating several of these brainless enemies, I reached the first bonfire and what I assume are checkpoints and safe zones. In front of me, a majestic and imposing ruined building with its enormous door. What awaits me behind it?

Thanks to my curiosity and trying to take a good screenshot of it, I think I made a creature angry, as I saw something dangerous through that window.

And as I entered, my suspicions were confirmed. The Asylum Demon lunged from above to block my way.

Positive point: Not even 2 minutes into the game and I was already thrown into a boss fight without even being given instructions on how the game worked and, to top it off, with a piece of a broken sword that does no damage. (What a great HP the one who decided to bring me here like this)

After 5 minutes of combat and realizing that my attacks were insignificant against this creature, I had no choice but to run for my life, and to my surprise, I found a small door that was open and hidden behind some jars. And I barely managed to escape this death trap alive.😗💨

After another short journey, I managed to find some weapons and now I feel a little safer lol. If I had them minutes ago, I would have finished off that damn Asylum Demon baaff.

It seems that the knight who is half-dead on the middle floor and who offered me the Estus Flask is the one who helped me escape from my cell, but I had no mercy and to prevent him from attacking me, I ended him and his suffering.

Face to face with the Asylum Demon.

This time I was not going to run away. I was determined to finish off the demon that was holding me captive in this place that I already totally disliked. (It was a bit complicated to take pictures in the middle of the fight due to the lack of a pause menu or an automatic pause in photo mode, but I managed it.)

The blows rained down like bread, and the demon felt the fury of the most powerful pyromancer those lands would ever know. And after experiencing the edge of my axe and the power of my fireballs, I finished him off and obtained the key that would grant me my long-awaited freedom.

After reaching the summit that lay beyond my escape, all that could be seen were majestic but distant mountains, and the ravine at my feet dictated that it was the end of the journey. But from the depths, a terrifying sound was heard and a terrifying raven appeared that transported me to the new world.

After my ascent to Lordran, the new city that would welcome me on this adventure, I found a bonfire to rest and replenish my Estus Flasks.

And where, surprisingly, I could level up just once after defeating that monstrosity (I decided to give that point to improve my strength stat), but no matter how insignificant that little point was, it was an achievement, and so far I was holding up well.

The Knight of Scorn.

By the bonfire, I encountered the first NPC, a despicable knight who treated me with coldness and disdain. An act that prompted me to end his life. What I never expected was that he would defend himself and give me as much of a fight as he did. We had a pitched battle for survival and for control of the place, but my faithful friend, the Estus Flask, saved me from dying on more than one occasion. And after a counterattack, I managed to take his life and make him prostrate himself at my feet.

This is where this first entry of my journey through the dangerous universe of Dark Souls 1 comes to an end.

I hope you enjoyed it and see you in the next part of this journey.

Greetings.
