Hunting Shadows for the second time in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Shadow Hunting. showing and talking about shadow hunting in RDR 2.

This is the second time they've announced this theme and I took part in the first time where I became a winner as well and I hope I'll be able to keep my space there this time as well. So, let's start.

This is the first shadow that I hunted as I wished to keep both Arthur and a horse in the frame at the beginning and I chose that railway as the background of the shadow. I normally forget how to make my horse gallop but I did it with one try this time.

This stranger was passing the route where I was and I tried to keep both Arthur and that stranger and their horses in the frame. I mean their shadows in the frame.

I was leading my horse and after trying different angles, I found this shadow of Arthur leading his horse. If I'm not wrong, I tried a similar shot in the first time I tried hunting shadows thought this is a closeup shot of the shadows.

A stranger with a gun was riding this horse carriage when I was walking there and it looks like I froze the frame at the perfect time so I hunted these shadows from different angles perfectly. I didn't disturb them, I just disturbed the shadows.

I forgot to tell you, the location was Bluewater Marsh, Lemoyne. There's the welcome board that welcomes you to Lemoyne and I hunted a shadow of this as well.

The ArtThe Artist

If you're in peakd or ecency frontend, click on the photos to zoom them as I had to leave them in small sizes in table format so I could show both the art and the artist side by side. The sun was looking at the bird at that time so it had that shadow on the land.

And now more shadows of birds. The second one was reflection on water for sure but it was shadow as well. There were other cool reflections on water that were not shadows so I ignored them as I'm not hunting reflections on water.

And a frog. It was jumping around when I was looking for birds shadows and I froze the frame by opening the photo mode when I noticed the frog just jumped and I had to zoom the lens to capture this photo.

I was riding towards St Denis thinking I might get some cool shadows there and I noticed this horse carriage on my way there where the horses were resting under the hot daylight.

I was looking for shadows around St Denis and this is the only shadow I found worth capturing and showing you guys. Do you see the shadow what I'm trying to show? Its on the bench there and the shadow of the lady.

And I hunted more of these shadows starting from the village near St Denis through the swamps and ended at Rhodes.

Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
