In my last post, I talked about getting to a Hydroelectric Dam and looking for a way to get around. Today I'll talk about how we got to the Federal Control Secure Facility and witnessed a happy moment after all the saddest part.
I helped Ellie get to the other side of the dam and then Ellie moved the platform and helped me get to her. Then the kid asked for a high five saying it was teamwork and I went for it.
We started exploring around again and found a tent on the open with a campfire where there was no fire. Then we noticed a tiny grave with a teddy bear on it. The size of the grave says its the grave of a child. Seeing this grave, Ellie started being sad cause she forgot to put the robot on Sam's grave.
Before going deeper, I stopped there for a moment to check this view of the dam out when Ellie was talking about being starved and was warning Joel that he'd be responsible for this.
Then we reached this secure facility that's under federal control it says and Joel said they'd have to go through it as there was no way around. After I checked around for loots first, I went for the gate.
When Joel was trying to push open the gate, some armed peoples came over pointing their gun on them. Joel said they're just trying to make their way through and suddenly this man said they're alright. When the woman asked if the knows them, the man said, "He's my goddamn brother".
So yeah, Joel found his brother Tommy after all which was his main objective from the beginning though it's changed now having Ellie as his responsibility.
Tommy introduced the woman to Joel as his wife and they took Joel in along with Ellie.
Letting the others know it was a false alarm and that they're friendlies, they walked towards some horses where Ellie got a lot excited seeing the horses and she said she knows how to ride them.
The four of them were going for a lunch but suddenly a dam worker asked Maria (Tommy's wife) to reach the control room as they're about to start backing up something.
Tommy insisted he'd go and check when Ellie go with Maria for the lunch and then Joel joined Tommy.
Tommy took Joel to his bedside and said he went back to home in Texas last year and found most of their stuffs long gone but found a picture of Joel with his daughter Sarah that still looks pretty good. After having a look, Joel gave it back to Tommy saying he's good. Man is tough and doesn't want to look back.
