After witnessing the wrath of the cultists in this game, now my character was captured in the hand of someone after the last chase but he's not among those cultists. Turns out, he's a good person and wants to help me.
After investigating his banker, I came out of it with the permission of that man and I started warming up in this island.
After my character was in a blackout, the next thing we saw was this, tied up with an iron bed and my character started to try to cut him loose.
This man who looks like a US Army just let me know that the roads have all been closed and there's no signal in or out of this valley.
After untie me, the man asked me to put the uniform off as we need to burn it so the peoples around don't know who I am (probably) and he added that there's some fresh clothes and asked me to change.
This cabinet had the clothes that I could change into and I got the chance of customizing my character as well.
Now I should've meet that man but I started exploring this bunker first cause who knows, I might not get a chance later.
I even found an armor, like an iron rod in that bunker and btw, the name of that man who was helping me was Dutch and I found this board in the room where he was waiting for me.
Dutch tried introducing himself properly this time and he assured me that my partners are alive for now and each one of them has been handed off to a different member of Joseph's family.
Dutch was suggesting that we need to build a resistance and the first thing we need to do is getting control of this island. Then he asked me to take the gun and map from the safe and go out.
I came out of the bunker taking the gun and map and Dutch was telling me what I need to do building the resistance and showed me those points.
After walking a while, I found this civilian who was captured and being tortured by two cultists. First I climbed up to that tree tower and I shot both the cultists down.
Then I went close to the civilian, I picked up the rifle from there and I liberated that civilian which was my first.
Found this lookout tower which is in Silver Lake Conservation Area and there was a rope that gave me a lift to the other side and I noticed that man that I liberated was a stuff of this lookout tower.
I could see some enemies on another tiny island where I needed to go swimming and after jumping on the river/lake or whatever it is, I tried to check on the physics of water in this game which seemed cool.
There was this Boat Hose where I had something to collect from inside but the door was locked and I couldn't find the key so I gave up. And I noticed that wooden boat there on the bank of the river. Yeah, let's just call them river.
I reached this boat thinking I might be able to row it towards that tiny island and take the cultists in stealth action but this boat is more like a showpiece.
I shot down the cultists there from a far when I was still on the other side. Now I see shooting is not that hard anymore in this game. @ibet, you may take a loot at the game as this part (shooting) looks easier now 😎
There was this shrine on that tiny island which was releasing some kinds of gas continuously. I was not sure what to do so I got close and understood this gas makes you feel different, maybe like you're having drugs or something.
I found a cylinder of the gas inside and I started firing on it after going on a little distance and the shrine was destroyed with the cylinder.
Then I got this tiny story mission named as Gun for Hire where I had to first rescue this man and he started following me to help me out with my following tasks.
There was a little camp around which we cleared out at first and there was this man who was on the spot when we had the first incident.
Then we had to liberate the cult outpost where there were some cultists and some civilians as well. Of course, the civilians were being tortured.
I thought this part would be hard but not, it was easier. I'm not sure whether it was easier cause I'm now playing in easy difficulty or not. Yes or no, I'm okay with this.
And yeah, we liberated the Ranger Station of Silver Lake Conservation Station and I guess this are (Silver Lake Conservation site) is on our grasp now.
Hold on. The main fun begins from now but you'll have to wait for my next post to know what happens next. 😜 And trust me, there'll be something great in the next post.
