In my traditional series of posts about the street art of this city in the north of Chile, I share a mural that I found quite nice and interesting. It was painted in a very peculiar style, I like the symmetry in its composition and the color usage. Next to the photos that show the painting in detail, there is other where we can see its surroundings. The mural is located in a steep hill street, where almost all the walls are covered by murals. Making this street like a “street art museum”
En mi ya tradicional serie de publicaciones acerca del arte urbano de esta ciudad del norte de Chile, le presento un mural que encuentro bastante bonito y con un estilo pictórico muy peculiar, en particular en la simetría de su composición y en el uso del color. Junto con unas fotografías que muestran la obra en detalle, en otra se observa los alrededores de la misma. Está ubicado en una calle de una colina inclinada, donde los muros en casi su totalidad están pintados con murales, convirtiéndola en un “museo de arte urbano”.
The photos were taken with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the edition was done in Gimp. I also show one of the images in black and white.
