Skateboard and Street Art have always been good friends. Both have appropriated the street to make it a huge playground and art canvas. It's normal that they cohabit in good harmony. Today I present you the Van Horne skatepark in Montreal which is partially under the Rosemont overpass. The pools have been tagged from all sides. But the most interesting Street Art is the pillars of the viaduct.

WHO
The most interesting thing is the pillars, each pillar has been painted on both sides and as it's almost legal or in the worst case crossed, the works change often.
Cool letterings on top, especially the filling of the letters. At the bottom, more simple but clean, CPW aka Crime Pays Well, Montreal based crew, pure graffiti.
Another Montreal collective in action, K6A. The lettering is very similar to Serak but I'm not 100% sure.
My favorite pillar 😀 but I don't know who exactly is behind this piece, BTH.
Two great letterings with at the top Pito and at the bottom unknown artist. Even the background is very well done with this network of red lines.
Jake Hill** aka Jkltwo** with the skull at the bottom of the pillar. And at the top and oldest, there are only palm trees under a sunset done by Bibi Una, a Montreal based artist.
And to finish this post, a sculpture done by Junko, a Montreal artist who makes his sculptures with materials recovered from garbage or natural before installing them in the city. Always impressive his animals.

What is your favorite pillar? Or is it Junko's sculpture?
Quel est votre pilier préféré ? Ou c'est la sculpture de Junko ?
