What is TAG?
TAG is a game that runs on the Wax Blockchain and strangely enough the game runs inside a discord server:
You can fight random enemies, run quests, recruit a pet, craft items, pick a class(profession actually which also goes up after completing a certain number of quests 10/14/?/.../?/), level up, increase your stats, equip armor and weapons and use different skills that have an interesting element system:
Here I'm fighting a Mimic which is weak to fire:
Sweep(basic attack) does 10 damage
While the fire skill does around 25:
Monsters ocasionally drop chests, rewards, craftable materials, or the game coin
Since I found it I've been playing a few mins everyday because it's really addictive and you can run random encounters endlessly.
Okay fefe, you got me hooked, how do I play as well?
First obviously you need to make a Wax account and then you need to follow the instructions in the server to link your wallet with your discord account.
During this process you need to send an NFT worth around 5-6 wax to a certain account (everything is explained in the server)
And that's all you need to pay until 2nd October because the game is having an open week now.
After this week is over you'll also need to pay around 40 WAX to get a beta pass to be able to play the game (You can also opt for a 80wax license which also gives you extra stats + 1% damage + you can get your character as an NFT if I'm not wrong

Is it worth the investment?
I haven't played much, I just joined because it looks fun. Honestly I don't know how much the currency of the game fluctuates I have used around 10 WAX (membership + buying a sword to equip myself and a few skills). After 3 days I got around 1 wax in the game's currency (I think one may be able to make 1 or more Wax in the game doing the quests which pay in the game's coin) and I also got around 4 wax worth of NFTs. The quests give around 0.5-1 G (which is worth around 0.09 wax), but as you level up they'll give more WAX. You can play 10 quests everyday (I can do 11 rn so I guess I earned that while leveling up) unless you have the License which lets you play 20
Therefore, with the license you would level up faster and earn between 1-2 daily wax while with the beta pass you would only do 0.5 and 1 wax.
On the other hand, you can also get chests in quests and both chests and drops in random encounters that you can repeat countless times.
my inventory is worth 7 wax now so basically I made 2.27 wax playing I got a chest that's worth 1.5 wax and I opened it and got an item worth 0.1 WAX + 23 Guild coins which are probably worth 2 WAX... If I had done things correctly I would've something pretty close to 6 WAX

Primero, obviamente, debe crear una cuenta de Wax y luego debe seguir las instrucciones en el servidor para vincular su billetera con su cuenta de Discord.

¿Vale la pena la inversión?
No he jugado mucho, solo me uní porque parece divertido. Sinceramente, no sé cuánto fluctúa la moneda del juego. He usado alrededor de 10 WAX (membresía + comprar una espada para equiparme y algunas habilidades). Después de 3 días obtuve alrededor de 1WAX en la moneda del juego (creo que uno puede hacer 1 o más WAX en el juego haciendo las misiones que pagan con la moneda del juego) y también obtuve alrededor de 4 WAX en NFT. Las misiones dan alrededor de 0.5-1 G (lo que vale alrededor de 0.09 WAX), pero a medida que subes de nivel, te darán más WAX. Puedes jugar 10 misiones todos los días (puedo hacer 11 rn, así que supongo que me las gané mientras subía de nivel) a menos que tengas la licencia que te permite jugar 20
Por lo tanto con la licencia subirías más rapido de nivel y ganarias entre 1-2 wax diarios mientras que con el beta pass solamente harias 0.5 y 1 wax.
Por otro lado tambien pueden tocarte cofres en las quests y tanto cofres como drops en los encuentros aleatorios que los puedes repetir infinidad de veces.
mi inventario vale 7 WAX ahora, así que básicamente hice 2,27 WAX jugando. Obtuve un cofre que vale 1,5 WAX, lo abrí y obtuve un artículo que valía 0,1 WAX + 23 monedas del gremio que probablemente valdrían 2 WAX.. Si lo hubiera hecho las cosas correctamente, tendría algo bastante parecido a 6 WAX.
