Roman Era Silver Ring 3 - 4 century ad.

Hi there,
nice of you to stop by.

I wanted to begin posting with something really special. Totally random forest find of a silver Roman ring. It is a male ring judging by the size. Motifs suggest it is 3rd or 4th century ad. Nearest roman site is kilometers away from where it was found.

Ring is uncleaned.

It is a heart, arrow or a teardrop shaped ring with what looks like to be a tower engraving on it.

Some more context, hill or slope where it was found bears the name which loosely translates to "guards".

Enjoy:
