Hi fellow hivers and members of the @Reggaejahm community. 💕February is considered as the month of love. I feel like so much happens or is celebrated at this time of year. It’s also Black History Month and two members from my family celebrate their birthdays around this time.
In this particular post, I’ll share with you with photos of Valentine’s Day celebration in Japan.

I would say chocolate is the main and most popular snack sold in celebration of the day. Various shops do their “hearty” decoration. Cake shops do cute and “chocolatey” pastries. The variety of chocolates is large to say the least. Continue reading as I share with you some signs and treats I saw for the occasion.

Chocolate at a Department Store

At the department store, customers can view samples of chocolate from the glass case or display areas. Items purchased are beautifully packaged and wrapped. The packages are perfect for presents. They can be mailed to receivers’ addresses and customers can choose the from the time slots available, the time they would like the packages to be delivered. It’s very convenient.

These chocolates seem cultural. We can see symbols and seasonal fruits of Japan. Mount Fuji and sakura (cherry blossoms), are two types among them.

Some types are decorated with fruits and nuts. Some contain alcohol. They are colorful.I loved the idea of the torch and got a few of those.

Chocolate at Foreign Food Stores
