Here are the points I learnt from the teaching of Brother Daniel:
Praying that a a way to avoid temptation, you should always choose to love the things of God, you should always strive to obey the things of God. If you are married you and your spouse should always care for the things of f God. Your perspective should not just be pleasing your wife else the devil will break you. Do not violate the things of God. A man should have hope of leading his wife to the Father.
The first commandment God gave us is to love the Lord our God, and the second is to love ourselves, and to always do good to one another especially those in the household of faith. Doing good to our fellow men is showing love to them, love is the fulfilling of the law. If you do evil to your fellow men then there’s no love in you.
We were told never to turn away from those in need whenever we have the capacity to help our fellow men. If it is in our power to offer help to our brethren we should do it. Do not turn your back from away from your brethren.
The love we should apply in the gathering is the love shown by our Lord Jesus Christ, that is what we’ve been taught in the gathering and if you do not practice what you learn, you will forget it in no time. God sows and plant the word in our heart, so when temptation arises we can conquer it with the word of God.
Temptation doesn’t mean we all will perish, but we should receive it joyfully as when temptation ends we all will enjoy it.
When temptation comes it is our chance to do the the will if God. Temptation teach s us to be patience, it is a mark of trial,
As Christians our primary responsibility is caring for the things of God, it is a priority for us all.
How the teaching affects my daily life
I have learnt to trust God in everything, I will always put my trust in God, whatever temptation comes my way I know God is giving me a chance to do His will here on earth, and after the temptation I will have my season of rejoicing.
